Chapter 13:The Grannar Village

Terran then smiled at the both of them, but Zira saw through his plan and smirked.

"Heh, how cute of you honey to try and changed the topic"

Zira said this while having a smug face and holding Nyx's hands.

Nyx couldn't help but laugh , and stopped when he saw his father glaring at him with irritation.

Nyx's then diverted his eyes.

Terran was having a hard time trying to gain the higher ground from this two.

Meanwhile Zira was laughing but she wanted to let Nyx know about the Grannar Village.

Nyx dear come here mommy's gonna tell you all about the Grannar Village, Terran honey you should also share your story about the Grannar Village to Nyx.

Terran finally was unable to gain his dignity back if he told his son about his heroic deeds.

"Tsk tsk tsk, listen here son back then I was called Iron fist because of my bravery and courage, I slayed down giant monsters and even small dragons..!"

Zira couldn't help but laugh at how Terran was telling his story to Nyx, like a little child.

'He sounds so childish'

Zira looked at the both of them, Terran and Nyx both looked like small kids telling some cool stories.

Zira couldn't help but smile and squinted her eyes and thank the God for giving her this blessing.

Meanwhile Terran was flexing his muscle at Nyx like some weird dad.

"Listen Nyx, back then when I was just 12 I already killed a D rank monster called a Hobgoblin, It was strong but not as strong as me, it only took me one punch to kill it!"

Nyx was having a hard time dealing with his father listening to his story.

'Well father if you only knew, back then I also killed dozens of beast at my first journey..! I should be stronger than you eh..?'

Nyx was also having his own imagination.

At this point Zira butted in and started telling Nyx about the Grannar Village.

"Nyx, the Grannar Village is just a small village located in a remote region called rocky mountains, It is far away from any city's and the capital of eden is much farther than here."

Terran also started looking serious, yeah that's what this region is called the Rocky Mountains is famous for it's ores and most importantly mana stone mines!

But it is very dangerous...

Nyx also started getting serious and started to memorize every details.

Hmmm... so this is really a fantasy world huh..? well it would be very exciting to see this new world I'm on..!

I should listen carefully and don't even forget the small details.

Zira was also serious at this point because the region their in is really dangerous.

'Nyx this might scare you... at your current age but, it wasn't our choice to live here.'

Terran also nodded and added in, Yeah, this piece of land that where granted to was given to us by his majesty King Donald Von Sheiner the fourth.

It was due to our past deeds that we managed to get this piece of land and was granted a tittle as a guardian of the Grannar Village.

Zira nodded while facing Nyx.

Zira jumped to Terran's back he was explaining to Nyx, and like a child Zira was more amused to Terran explanation.

Nyx saw her mother acting like a child and couldn't help but question himself.

'Who's the real kid here..?'

But Nyx just smiled and continued to listen but the more he listened the more his interest in this new world blossom his interest!

Hmmm... Zira was now bored listening to Terran and have an annoyed look.

Nyx noticed this and he poked his father's cheeks and pointed to Zira.

Terran looked at Zira still clutched in his back, Z-Zira honey are you alright..?

Zira replied in a low and unenergetic voice, Nothing honey...

Terran didn't mind it and continued, as I said Grannar Village is just a small village with just about a 150 people in it.

Nyx was surprised by the small number of people in the Grannar Village.

'Well I guess that's why it's called Grannar Village because it's just a Village after all.'

Nyx then asked Terran about the jobs of the people in the Grannar Village, Dad what do people in the Grannar Village do for their daily jobs..?

Terran was thinking of all the familiar jobs in the Grannar Village and told Nyx.

Hmmmm... let's see most of the people here work as a miner for mana stones and special ores, like deep iron or spirit crystals which is quite rare and in high demand in the market.

Nyx was interested to hear more about this new type of ores he had never heard of even in the ten thousand immortal worlds!

Papa, what uses does the ores has..?

Terran replied immediately, well it's simple son it can be made for armor, weapons or catalyst to make more rare metals.

Terran was having a smug look while Zira now was irritated, and bonk the head of Terran.

Ouch... Terran felt pain but it wasn't that strong.

H-honey what's wrong? Did I do something wrong again..?

Zira walked and sat at the bed and put her hands in her stomach with a pouting lips and ignored Terran's questions.

*Hmph!*

Nyx saw this and couldn't help but have a confused and a sarcastic face.

'Are they still a child..? why are they acting like this... I still want to know more about the fantasy metals..!'

'Like mithril, orichalcum, and most of all the adamantite..!'

Zira was annoyed at Terran but she soon started telling about her own story.

Listen here Nyx, when mommy was young there was always a guy who bothers me a lot.

So I always beat him up whenever he tried to talk to me!

Zira had an evil grin at her face while slowly glancing at Terran.

Nyx was surprised to hear this side of her mom.

Hmmmm... I thought my mom Zira was a reserved person but turns out she also had a fierce side!

"ummm... mom what happened to that guy you used to beat up..?"

"oh him..? hahaha, he always ends up in the infirmary back in the Eden's Grand Magus Academy"

"He always had a funny look with a snot on his face whenever I beat him up"

Zira took a glance at Terran and smiled.

Meanwhile Terran was having a flash back if his own.

"H-honey shouldn't we tell Nyx about the interesting parts and not your childhood sweet heart..?"

"Hmph*, you didn't even mention my past to Nyx..!"

"Uh-huh..? is that it..?"

"What do you mean is that it??!"

"I also want to show off in front of our son!"

Zira was grumpy at this point she just felt that she also wanted to share her story but her stupid husband Terran didn't even mentioned a fraction of her own.

Nyx was surprised to see the scene develope in this way.

"Uhhmm... Mom dad, why don't each of you tell me your story respectively..."

Terran and Zira looked at Nyx, Terran was happy Nyx mentioned this since he might be able to avoid another beating!

"Y-yeah honey lets talk about your past deeds now... shall we..? hehehe"

Zira was still looking grumpy at this point but Nyx wanted to hear more so he wanted to convince Zira.

"Uhmm... I mean I wanted to know you and father story, and how you managed to climb to your current self..."

Nyx lowered his head and looked at both Terran and Zira.

Terran and Zira saw this cute act of Nyx and couldn't help but saw themselves as being a pitiful parents.

"Sorry dear, well continue the story tomorrow, shall we?"

"Hmmmm... Honey shouldn't we test Nyx elemental affinity and his mana pool tomorrow?"

"Hmm... Nyx dear, do you want to?"

Zira was worried if something horrible will happen again so she wanted Nyx's approval.

Nyx nodded.

"Mom, dad I want to know more about this 'magic'"
