Chapter 33: Healing magic

After I lost my consciousness I was now in my spiritual body, but this time it was different I was in my flat dantian but I saw it was very different it was indeed flat but it resembled that of an overbearing sea! it's size was huge, if I say a golden core cultivator's dantian would only be a 10th of my current dantian

What was weird was dantian were normally rotating as it is supplying energy to my meridians just like a heart would supply blood to the different parts of the body.

Nyx then tried to absorb this stagnant mana that was in his dantian but soon found out it really was possible but the drawbacks was his three elements, he didn't know how to cultivate the three properly.

A moment later Nyx finally manage to finally create a massive vortex and the end of the vortex connected to the three elements and was now being cultivated by Nyx, the seemingly tranquil mana pool was turned into a chaotic vortex that was supplying mana to the three elements.

After a while Nyx woked up and the first thing he saw was a bunch of children's faces gathering around him, so he was shocked to see this around him and got up as quick as he could.

"W-who are you guys..?" I got a little bit confused and didn't notice I was now actually in someone's room, I suddenly got up very quickly that it startled the little kids.

"Wahh... big brother is alive..!"

"I-I thought he was possessed by an evil spirit... he suddenly sprung up like he was possessed..."

"Quick Kyu, sister Maria Nyx is awake"

I stared at the little kids blankly and thought something embarrassing just happened, as I saw Kyu ran towards the door and shut it with his full force.

"Uhh... what happened..?" I tried to break the ice and made an awkward smile and asked this little kids what happened to me and to Ayesha and sister Maria.

"Nothing~"

"hehe... big brother did you dream of something scary..? why were you so afraid all of a sudden?" I saw this little brat acting like a sly adult and tried to tease me.

"Nothing, I just dreamed of the demon I fought..." hehe, let's see how you react this time.

"D-demon..?" I couldn't help but smirk and laughed when this little guy heard that word but enough of that, till now I didn't memorize their name so I took this chance and asked them one by one.

"Hey... can you guys tell me you names..?" Sure enough they introduced themselves after a while Kyu, Kendall, Natalie, Isabella, Olivia, Riley, Deanna, William, Stephen, Keifer, Clark, Thomas. This were their names, six boys and six girls, I was quite confused sister Maria said there were at least twenty-one of them but now it seems including Lisa, Ayesha, and Paul there are only fifteen of them.

"Hmm... I'll ask about that later."

Moments later sister Maria, Lisa, Kyu, Paul and Ayesha got to the room so of course I looked at them and sat on the bed comfortably even though the bed were basically made of wood it was a t*****e yo my modern butt.

"Hehe, Nyx what did I heard that you got possessed by an evil spirit..?" I heard sister Maria's remarks and my face instantly turned red, I remembered how embarrassing it was once again as steam floated around my head I gradually recovered from my shock.

"Oh right sister Maria your injured... let me help you heal up" I remembered that earlier sister Maria got injured and I also remembered that there was a floating window like a game and it recorded my current statuses, and I remembered it said "Healer" so does that mean one can actually achieve a tittle or maybe create a skill and be recorded in this floating window?

I had a big question mark in my head and just tried to do exactly what they do in anime just the "heal" word and maybe it'll automatically heal someone.

"Well I should at least try it like last time, last time I just circulated my mana in order to speed up the process of regeneration..." I mumbled this words to my self and everyone on the room only heard some squishy words out of it.

"N-Nyx are you alright..? you seem to be thinking of something important..." I looked at sister Maria and was embarrassed that I was actually thinking of anime and manga, I actually just wanted to experiment and tried a different approach in using magic. This time I focused and thought how do humans heal... Red blood cells help create collagen, which are tough, white fibers that form the foundation for new tissue. The wound starts to fill in with new tissue, called granulation tissue. New skin begins to form over this tissue. As the wound heals, the edges pull inward and the wound gets smaller. Cells survive by dividing and creating new cells in order to fully heal wounds or organs... "Regeneration"

Nyx heard a familiar sound and saw that the window status got updated and the part where the blank space was now had "Skills"

What's this, skills well whatever it is it's probably like what it was in most anime's.

"Sister Maria let me try and heal your injury..." I was quite nervous if this will work of not, but of course I want to help sister Maria heal.

"Heal..? you know healing magic Nyx?!" I saw sister Maria's reaction and her face show's that even a sister like her is shocked then I'm sure healing magic is quite rare and I assumed that sister's in an isekai world would have healing magic because churches would be the enemy of the mc and would normally side towards the Demons.

"Haha, I'm not quite sure but I'll try" I took a look and saw sister Maria had a bandage around her arms.

"Umm... can you take off the bandage sister Maria..?" Now that I look at it sister Maria isn't that tall and her face, she looks like a twelve years old... cute, ahem I mean she looks cute now that I think of it people in this parts have very weird hair color sister Maria has a light blue colored hair and what's more her eyes aren't brown but has a slight color the same with her eyes, Hmm... truly a beauty when she grows up.

I should stop simping with a sister, sorry God for having impure thoughts to our dear sister. Nyx then quickly regretted his own thoughts.

"I-I'll take it off..." I saw how sister Maria really felt, her face contorted with discomfort and her cute look earlier was just a mask to make us feel comfortable but the moment she took her bandages away I saw how terrible of an injury it really was

Her skin was scorched black, and one can faintly see the bone in her right arm. Her flesh was still not dry from her own blood but one could see just how terrible it must have been if they were in her situation, I was useless in thinking I had enough power, just because of my meager cultivation I got cocky.

"I'm sorry sister Maria... I couldn't properly block the chaotic energy earlier..." I looked down and was ashamed of my self, I was a four hundred and fifty year old man but still I didn't manage to completely help sister Maria.

"N-no... it's okay Nyx, it isn't anyone's fault..." Look at this kid, he thought it's all his fault just because he had some power and knowledge at his age, now I somewhat feel bad that I got injured and a kid is blaming himself.

"No... it... it isn't anyone's fault, it was because of me, sister Maria got injured because of me... *sob*" I didn't notice but Ayesha was still a child and me blaming my self would of course result into Ayesha thinking it was all her fault because she was the root cause of it all.

"Ayesha... it's just like you said it isn't anyone's fault..."

"Lisa... B-but... but sister Maria is injured because of me..."

"Don't blame yourself Ayesha it's just like what Lisa said to you it isn't really anyone's fault..."

Meanwhile Nyx on the sideline just saw what it mean to have bonds and friendship, and having a mutual feeling of kinship. Lisa hugged Ayesha, and sister Maria patted Ayesha's head.

"Is what it means to have a family..? this is so sweet to see... hey Paul aren't you gonna hug me or anything..?" I tried to liven up the atmosphere and hoped that Paul will understand me.

"*hick* N-Nyx... I didn't... I didn't think you think of me as a family... uwahhhh~ *sob* *sob*" I looked at Paul dumbly and saw his ugly face crying, his snot was about to enter his mouth but he tried his best to wipe his tears and snot.

This guys is really an i***t, I just wanted to make them laugh and now this guy is making things more awkward, this guy his build isn't so bad his body is pretty muscular for his young age with his red hair and fiery eyes, he is very suited to be a martial artist.

Paul then tried to hug Nyx with his tears and all the snot coming down, but Nyx was fast enough and dodge back while Paul landed his chin on the wooden bed.

*bang!*

Paul then plopped to the bedside and was KO'ed by bed-chan.

"HAHAHA! serves you right Paul!" In unison the little naughty boys laughed at Paul and his misfortune.

"Hahaha, Paul it seems like your not that popular with the kids" I laughed and made Paul sound more miserable.

"Hahaha~" But I didn't think Ayesha and Lisa would also laugh gently like the lady they are.

"Haha... sigh, you naughty kids stop laughing at Paul he might also be hurt you know..." No matter how I look at it sister Maria is like an angel being compassionate to every single one of them.

"Haha, before that let's treat your wound first sister Maria"

"Ah... huh? so you really weren't joking when you said your gonna heal me huh..?"

"haha... I just wanted to try if I can heal you sister Maria... that is, if I can" I awkwardly laughed and scratched my head because I really genuinely didn't know if it'll work.
