After all even a legendary Mythical beast would have it's limits, a phoenix has a total of nine lives and each life it's power would double from it's original power till it hits the nine life, where it's final form is completed.

They said that a Phoenix at it's peak would have nine fiery tails and body made out of flame that burns eternally, but it wasn't enough for one Mythical beast there was one who was as domineering as majestic as the king of all birds, a Dragon

Dragons, a mighty beast that can rival the strength of a god it's body was covered in a scale for armor, and any mortal level weapons can't hurt nor scratch a dragon scale even the gods mighty power prove to be useless against such a mighty legendary Mythical beast.

"I remembered that there were supposed to be two kinds of dragons... just like back in earth the western dragons and the eastern dragon, and some record says only true dragons survived that upheaval and as I saw only the eastern dragon species remains back in the Ten thousand immortal worlds a true dragon, but it's not like the other species of dragon just died some survived but it wasn't as strong as the eastern dragons... maybe that's why it was eradicated in the past"

Now they also said that after those two mighty beast alongside the humans as they fought for decades humans discovered a path for humans to gain immense strength and so was the two legendary beast, this war continued for thousands of years and finally they gained a humanoid form and from this the eastern dragons where the first to achieve such feats and then followed by the phoenix's, then the western dragons species and from time to time they tried to mate from different species but it was harder than expected because the more they got alongside each other the more pride they had when they established their powers, so the phoenix refused the dragon kinds idea in trying to create a new bloodline, but the dragon didn't agree if only they had the same ability as the phoenix's ability to come to life and gain more power, then it was no doubt that the new bloodline they would create would toppled the scale of the war but unlike them the phoenix's wasn't fond of bonding with the dragon kind as the dragon's were extremely arrogant and refused others help

Unlike them, they accept the help of other species and race such as humans and made bonds and even some has gained a special constitutions such as the vermilion holy body in the humans, after the long exposure of the fiery energy of the phoenix's the humans gained special constitutions such as the vermilion holy body, but it could only copy the power of the great phoenix which is having a fiery body and regeneration but it was enough for humans to slowly cultivate towards to

As the dragons saw the progress of the humans, the Azure dragon knew that their kind would be doomed if they continue like this, with a temperament that of lady who has no relationship they would gladly bite and tear other to pieces if they don't like each other. So the Azure dragon knew the time has come for a change

The Azure dragon was the only one who was hesitant to transform to that of a mortal body, but the more he thinks of it why was their dragon clan granted such power to transform into a mortal being, there must be a reason for this and so he descended and his tribulation began when he tried to gain a mortal body, but unlike his clansmen his tribulation was ten time more deadly than them heavenly thunder striking the Azure dragon and the godly death winds blowing his body down it was as if the heavens tried to suppress his transformation.

But soon his bodily strength and defense proved to be a hundred times stronger than the heavenly thunder and the godly death winds, his clansmen saw this mesmerizing scene and knew they had to bow to their strongest clansmen and greeted their king and soon the Azure dragon became the king of the skies as his color transcends that of the Azure sky and the phoenix also took the tittle of ruler of the sky but unlike them phoenix bloodlines has more females than males making their count a little fewer than the dragons but soon after a child born from the knew bloodline of the human and phoenix rose and was born with two heavenly flames the other was green and the other was blue, unlike their normal phoenix flames which was of red or scarlet color flames, this happened as the strongest of the human tribe with the vermilion holy body and the strongest youngest candidate to be the phoenix's queen had a child and the vermilion holy body has the power to store a heavenly flame unlike phoenix flames they can go around the world and find a heavenly flame if they are lucky enough, or sometimes they innately have heavenly flames which is rare and is much stronger than natural heavenly flames a treasure of the earth and heavenly principles with this development the child grew much faster than normal human and soon became a young girl but unlike them she had the complete rule over her body, to transform to a phoenix or to transform back to a human and her two heavenly flames made it the more better for their phoenix species to keep up with the dragon kind with their king and soon the child took the role of the phoenix queen after a couple of hundreds of years of cultivation from the phoenix tribe.

The Azure King however still questioned why he was granted this mortal body, his body was that of a human male but his deer like horn remained and his scale turned to the exact color that of a humans skin which made it almost invisible to the n***d eyes, but the more he lived with his mortal body he figured out that it contains divine strength that soon only the giant race would have but as he tested and cultivated this body he found out that unlike the western dragons their race were born to have their physical strength stronger than other races has and soon enough when he transformed back to his original gigantic body that could rival the world tree

Although it's body was very strong in it's original from it wasn't as strong as it was in his human form and the Azure dragon king tested it out and focused to know what happened and why he was so strong in his human form, and found out that his every fiber of muscle is focused and compressed to copy a body of a human and sure enough a body that can stand tall enough to reach the clouds and becoming a mortal his strength soared and let his clansmen knew his findings but some didn't agree till he tested his might on them, the Azure dragon king fought ten no a hundred of them at a time in their original dragon form while he was still in his mortal form it didn't take long for him to beat them to a pulp and turn a once gigantic mountain range into a desolate rubble of rocks and body's of the beaten dragon

The dragon clan thought that their size would make them invisible but the Azure dragon king prove them wrong and the story goes on till the great upheaval happened.
