Thomas

I don’t know what it is with this Eliza girl but, I can’t keep myself away from her. Truthfully, I believe she’s my mate, but I cannot accept that. She’s an omega and being the next in line for Alpha, I cannot have a Luna that is a weak omega. She’s gorgeous for sure with her tiny frame, long hair, and those enchanting yellow eyes that I can get lost in. I need to think of what’s best for my pack and this is not something I am wanting.

My wolf Rufix is enraged at me being that he’s already in love with her, but he must remember where our loyalty lies

“f**k loyalty, regardless of her status, we should not reject her” Rufix says.

“Hold up, we don’t even know if she really is our mate” even though I have heard rumors that some know by the time they’re children.

“I know she is; she smells heavenly like vanilla and I’m ready to mark her to make her ours forever.”

My eyes rolled “I am ready to have s*x with her, might as well get something from this”

He growled in my mind “Thomas, don’t you dare f*****g do anything that is going to hurt our mate!” “Shush mutt, remember you serve me!” And from there I put the wall up to block him from communicating with me. I am the next Alpha and will do as I please. As soon as the wind blew, the smell of vanilla came around me and I knew she was walking up.

I was able to smell that apple aroma that I am come to familiarize with Thomas. He was standing there in his blue shirt tight on him with black jeans. Even with clothes on you can tell he’s so fit and with that thought, I felt excitement in my lower region. From there a blush come to my face while approaching him. “Hi…”

“Hello beautiful.” As he took my hand and placed a kiss on the back of it. With our touch, I felt the static that mates feel when having contact. It went through my hands down my arms that took my breath away. He felt it too being that he had that adorable smirk that is to die for.

“Come, lets walk over somewhere. I have a surprise for you”. With that I followed his lead to a small area where there was a table set for us. There were roses and lit candles, I couldn’t but feel the romance. “You set this up for me?”

Once again, he just smiled and nodded. There were plates with lids set for us. He pulled out my chair for me to sit and pushed in once I was seated. Davina was purring in my mind being that she was adoring the attention we were getting. Thomas sat on the other side and took off the lids. I was such in awe being that I see steaks with dinner potatoes and veggies. It looked amazing and I normally did the packhouse cooking so I never indulged in the dinners that were made. I was lucky enough to get anything that was left over.

We began eating and I moaned as soon as the food hit my mouth.

“Is it good?” he asked

“It’s amazing!” I responded

“Good. With moaning on just that, I wonder how you sound with other things” he said with a sexy look.

I immediately blushed and felt something lower begin to flutter. I am a virgin being that I have felt required to save myself for my mate. I have thought about having s*x before, but I never had a boyfriend because I wanted to cherish myself for my mate. I wanted to have all those first-time experience with him so it would remain special.

I can tell he can smell me being that his grey eyes turned dark. I fidgeted in my chair being that him looking at me made me feel a bit intimidated, so I decided to begin talking “Umm…So Alpha WAIT! Sorry Thomas, it’s a habit. I am so accustomed to formalities, and I know you told me to call you by your actual name it’s just so strange and…” from there I knew I was doing work vomit being that I was so nervous. Goddess Eliza relax!

He laughed out loud, and it was the most beautiful sound I heard

“Hey it’s okay! Don’t be nervous. It’s just you and me. I wanted to take the chance to actually meet you being that I know you work in the packhouse but that’s all I really know”

“Oh, well there’s really nothing to know about me. I’m just an omega that makes sure your home is working smoothly”

He chuckled “Well, you have kept me well fed. I wondered what else you’re good at” he said as he winked at me.

My face must be red as a tomato being that he is so flirtatious. He held his hand out signally for me to grab it. I placed my hand in his and he led me to walk around the village. He intertwines our fingers together which then made me gasp to look up at his handsome face. Goddess how did I score with someone so beautiful.

“What are you thinking about gorgeous?” his question taking me out of my daze. “Oh! Um…Nothing. Just admiring our time together” s**t, did he really catch me staring at him. I then move my gaze down, so I don’t come off as weird.

“Haha...You’re cute, don’t be bashful, I think your little quirks are quite adorable.” I blushed for the millionth time today. “So, what does a soon to be Alpha do in a day?” Asking to change the subject.

“Well, it’s nothing crazy exciting. Morning is devoted to combat training, then meetings with the council, and of course Alpha training which is really just me shadowing my dad”

“That doesn’t sound too bad.”

“It’s not, it’s really boring more than anything but, I know it’s just part of the process.”

“Are you ready to become Alpha?” I asked

“Are you beginning to doubt me?” He asked angerly

“No! No Alpha! It was just an absurd question that was entirely disrespectful. Please forgive me for my foolishness” I begged with my head down feeling his Alpha aura surround us.

“It’s good you remember who your Alpha is!”

From there he removed his hand out of mine and stormed off. I have no idea what just happened, but it was like a switch was flipped and suddenly he went from flirtatious charming to a complete monster in a split second. I ran to the woods removed my clothes and shifted to Davina. I felt like an i***t that just ruined the one good thing going for me. I shut myself off and let Davina take control. She ran through the woods going up the mountain leading us to the cliff where we watch the sunset in the horizon over the pack. Once we made it, she sat and whined.

“Davina what did I just do?! I may have ruined things for us!”

“No Eliza! Our first encounter with him today…I don’t know but something seems off.”

“What do you mean? Didn’t you feel it? The sparks?”

“Yes, I know I felt them but, something deep inside him seems dark...”

“What do you mean?”

“I can’t explain it. I just know something that came off his did not seem genuine.”

“He’s our mate Davina.”

“That doesn’t mean a mate can’t be evil”

Having her say that make me feel sick. She may have a point in that. Davina then got up after seeing the sunset and moved her way back home.

How dare she question me with such ignorance. I will not tolerate anything less than me to question my capabilities. Rufix growled in my mind.

“You don’t deserve her”

“Well said because you will never have her. She will not be our mate!”

“i***t! She belongs with us! She is destined to be our Luna!”

“What she is destined to be is our packhouse slave to serve us that have the royal bloodline to rule in the world. Power is something you’re born with not given by a simple miracle”

Rufix was fuming in my mind but, I put up the wall to no longer speak with him. My father, Alpha Baron has already set a chosen mate for me. The thing is we are destined with someone but, in our pack, we go based on power not fate.

I already have an arranged marriage set with a Beta’s daughter so we can continue with the strong bloodline. I understand when rejecting a mate are painful and sometimes can even kill a werewolf, but I know I am strong and will continue to rule this pack until I have my next of kin take over for me. This is what I was destined to be.

The Moon Goddess gave us the power of a wolf to rule this world and take control of the parasites that are not born with power. Royals are born to rule while others, are born to serve.
