The shed blood

937 Words
I couldn't sleep tonight. I was worried about a lot of thoughts, but mostly Matteo and whether he will hurt Erica. So I just went for a walk under the night sky, illuminated by the seductive moon. My enjoyment of the beautiful view was interrupted by the sharp flavour of blood. Hunger. Desire to kill, hurt and torture. Vampires will understand me. A corpse. A man's corpse. That's what I found. When I saw the dead body, I remembered that I had to check the restaurant. I really wanted to kick that vampire's ass, but it was clean inside. There was not even a trace of blood. I was tired. From what exactly? Even I wasn't sure. Maybe I was tired of living. I lay on the road and stared at the countless stars. Bright and attractive. Why did everyone admire the sun, but no one pays attention to the stars? Why did people know and notice the rings of Saturn, but not those of Uranus and Jupiter? At one point I felt a bright light illuminate a small part of the road. Car. "Excuse me, sir? Are you all right? You're lying on the road. It's dangerous." asked a woman who got out of the car. "Am I okay? No. I fell in love with a girl who has a boyfriend and this is my brother, I want to kill everyone I see, my cousin hates me and will make my life miserable in every way possible, I feel like a monster and my sister quarrelled with some vampires who now want to kill us. So no. I'm not well at all. " "Um, have you overdose on the alcohol today?" "Did you just stop by the middle of the road just to talk to a freak?" The woman got back in the car and drove to where she came from. I went back to the calm and comforting lying on the road. My eyes watered and soon a tear ran down my face. I was drowning in my problems. The pain became more and more. For the first time, the pain was so severe that I couldn't turn it into anger. I can't take grief and sadness. I can't. I'm not used to doing it. That's why I turn it into a rage. After hours I decided to return home. The night had given way to the day. The darkness was disappearing because of the sun. It was as if all the stars had become one big star, the sun. Only Alex and Hazel were home. Henrik had probably gone to school. Where did June go so early? God, I realized now that if the vampires June had angry wanted to kill us, then Hazel and the baby would die too. And on top of that, we don't know when those vampires will attack us. They are literally playing with my patience and nerves. I went to Alex and Hazel. They were in the living room. "So, how's life?" I asked them. "Terrible." Alex replied. "Um, why?" "Look." Alex handed me a piece of paper that said a lot of people would get hurt, a lot of blood would be shed, and a lot of grief would fall, but there would be revenge, and if any of us survived, he would never forget that day. "I believe in you boys. You've never lost a battle. It's been more than two centuries and you've always won." "Thank you, Hazel." said Alexander. "I told the truth." Suddenly there was a gunshot. Alex and I went outside to see what was going on. We both hoped they weren't the vampires. And fortunately, they were not. And they were there, but they weren't shooting, it was June. "Do you even know how to use a gun?" I asked her. "Well, I screwed someone up after all." "I'm not going to ask if you have a gun license." "Of course not. I took the gun from a cop." "It's a theft." "Call it whatever you want. I don't care." What would people do at that moment, who cares? They are mortal and sooner or later they will die. Erika is now at school with Henrik. So everything is fine. There were six vampires and one dead body. For those who are not good at math, there were originally seven. June was fighting two of them. Alex with three. And I with one. He punched me in the nose. "That, my man, was a bad choice." I told him. The rage. The thing that made vampires stronger. In less than a minute, the i***t was dead. And to make sure he wouldn't surprise me when he somehow turned out to be alive, I lit his body with a lighter. Baked vampire. A delicacy. I went to help June. "Don't you need your help, they're already in the dust." she said. Then Alex. The three vampires had inflicted serious wounds on him, but he ripped out the heart of the latter. "We did it." happy and a little tired, Alex said. June ran her fingers through her long black hair. "If you want, call me crazy or a psychopath, but I love shooting with this gun. I'll keep it." "Just explain to me how you managed to kill a vampire with a gun?" I wondered. "Wooden cartridges." June smiled. "Come on, let's go home. Hazel may be waiting for us." Alex convinced us. To be honest, it became much faster than I expected. And yes, maybe a lot of blood was shed, but the important thing is that all of us were alive.
