“Xavi?”
The two of them stood there for a while, just looking at each other in shock. Who would have thought that they would meet here after all these years?
Eloise tried to close the elevator door as fast as possible, but it was already too late. Xavi had already entered the elevator with a dazed look on his face. The doors closed and they were now enclosed in a space where Eloise couldn't escape.
“Oh my gosh,” he muttered under his breath. “It really is you! What are you doing here?”
She pursed her lips together. “I could ask the same to you. What are you doing here?”
“I work here,” Xavi said. “Well, I’m the COO of this place.”
Eloise awkwardly looked around the place. She didn’t know how to talk with someone she hadn’t seen in four years.
“Are you doing okay?” he suddenly ask
