The hybrid lycan luna

My name is Natalie I am a hybrid, my mother is a lycan she was mated to a vampire as you can tell not everyone was happy about it so we have been in hiding for so long we found the perfect little town. A lot of vampires want me dead as I am abomination against nature; a vampire bite can’t hurt me nor can sliver, wood can’t even hurt me, my mum and dad have always taught me how to fight from an early age in case something would happen. Since lycans can hid their scent we have managed to live as humans for the last eighteen years, some vampires have special powers I can read minds even if I am not in their pack, I’m even faster than any vampire and werewolf. Mum dad I’m off to work now I yelled out from the living room, I work in my best friend’s mum clothes shop we have been best friends since middle school she doesn’t know about me we can’t risk telling anyone we can’t have people finding out about me. OK honey my mum shouted back while she was walking downstairs be safe and I love you mum said while kissing me on my head, I love you too I said, We just live out of town so it doesn’t take me long to walk to work, I reach the door take a deep breath in to get ready for the day.   Hi jasmine I say when I walk in to the clothes shop she turns around and gives me her biggest smile Natalie how are you, I’m fine how about you I say while putting my bag in the cupboard. We sit and chat about the weekend when a group of guys walk in with a couple of girls, “Werewolf’s thinking to myself”  when this smell this unbelievable smell it’s like clean cut grass but I know  all too well what this smell means so I act like I didn’t notice or even bothered by it because I know full well that my mate has just walked in to the shop I can’t let him know who I am. I just sat pretending I was doing paperwork when really I was trying to listen to their thoughts, “My mate is here” “Who” “The girl sitting behind the counter” I could feel eyes on me but I acted like i didn’t notice, “But she’s human” “I know” “But an alpha is hardly ever mated to a human” His an alpha I gasp in my head, I turn to jasmine “hey jas I’m going to head out for my lunch” I just had to get out of here for a bit, “Yeah that’s fine Nat I see you soon” she says, As I’m heading out I see this tall skinny beautiful girl run up to my mate with some underwear “babe how do you like this one” he looks at her with a smile “I love it lets get it he laughs”, that must be his girlfriend I think to myself while rolling my eyes. I walk out and head to the cafe across the road sitting there waiting to order my food, I ordered a egg and bacon sandwich and a tea while sitting there I try to go over everything in my mind I have just found my mate and not just any mate an alpha mate I take a deep breath and let it out why did I have to find my mate here I love this place  I’m going to have to stay away from him because once he finds out what I am his going to try and kill me like the others arhhhh I scream in my head, I just don’t know what to do, I stare out the window while I eat my sandwich I notice the alpha and his pack leaving the shop hopefully since he has a girlfriend he might still away from me I signed knowing for well I was kind of jealous  I finish up my sandwich and head to the till to pay my bill once I’ve done that and head back to work, “Hey jas I’m back I call out” “Hey Nat thank god your back jasmine says” “What’s up I say?” “Oh god them girls was so rude hopefully they won’t be back” I laugh “fingers crossed I say” After of being at work all day I help jasmine tidy and close up the shop and head home, after what feels like forever I got home, “Mum dad I’m home I yelled” “Hey honey they yell back” “How was work?” “Yeah not bad same old” I chose not to tell them about this whole mate thing call me selfish but I don’t want to move, “Your dinner is in the oven I’ve not long put it in there my mum said” “Thanks mum I say back” I go in to the kitchen and grab my food from the oven I reheat it and go and sit down at the table while sitting there eating my dinner I couldn’t help but feel like something or someone is watching me I stop what I’m doing and check out the window I look around for a while but I couldn’t see anything I guess it’s just my imagination playing tricks on me I just shrug it off and go back to eating my food, once I’m done I wash up the dishes then go upstairs to have a shower brush my teeth then get in my bed to watch a movie but my mind takes me back to my mate I could feel my wolf longing for her mate as well  wondering why he never came over to me to at least talk maybe he doesn’t want a human mate i laugh to myself if only he knew what i am but he cant know no one can know i sign to myself i just have to learn to live by myself forever, before i know i could feel sleep taking over my body.
