Theo’s P.O.V.
I had a meeting with the operation department regarding some upcoming projects. It went long. When I came out of the meeting room, I dialled Maggi’s number and that was not reachable. I asked Aiden to find out when did she leave the office? He told me that Maggi went out on time. I started my car and called at home.
“Hey mom”, I greeted my mom. I heard her greeting me back with a happy tone that made me smile a little. After such a long time, I felt easiness in her voice.
“Mom… is Maggi home?” I asked her hesitantly. It was still awkward for me to ask her about my wife’s whereabouts.
“No…. she hasn’t yet reached. I thought she is with you?” she told me and I could sense the worry in her voice.
