Kiara's POV

It's been three days since I got engaged to that man everything is so creepy around here. A huge mansion but not a single family member lives here.

I have not seen anyone but the butler and few maids while exploring this palace. I have been keeping tab of everything around me so that I can come up with a escape plan when I get the change. I have not seen Revan since that Engagement ceremony and as far as I have checked there is no CCTV inside the house so there is a chance for me to leave this place unnoticed.

Every day, afternoon a food container truck comes to this palace carrying every day supplies and a maid leaves with the container truck this is my perfect opportunity.All I have do is replace the maid and take her place.

It's almost time for the truck to come

I ducked inside the kitchen without anyone noticing me and saw the maid is washing dishes. I silently approached the maid and pressed on her pressure point on the back of her neck and she passed away. Then took her to the adjacent room and exchanged my clothes with her. Everything thing is going according to my plan, all I hope is I my parents have already left this city and no one will notice me before I flee from here.

I reached the main door and saw there was no one else except the truck driver, he opened the front passenger door for me and I hopped in. After half and hour we successfully crossed the main door of this mansion. I sighed in my heart, at last I will be free. The driver dropped me on the near bus stop. Now all I have to do is go to my home and make sure everything is ok there and then I will leave this country forever.

I got down on the next station and took a taxi to my house. When I approached my house I checked my surroundings and everything was quiet, so I slowly walked in the direction of my house. I reached my house and opened the door I heaved a sight of relief as I was lights are off. I tip toeed to my room. I looked around and all the memories of me and my family living here flashed back through my head.

This is my home, where I grew up, my dad always treated me like a princess. Have I told you before that I was adopted by them?

Well you must be wandering what am I talking about? How can I be Lin family's only daughter if I was adopted. We do share the same blood as my father but he is not my real dad.

Well let me explain, I was 5 years old when my real parents died in a plane crash and my present dad was my father's twin brother. They had a very good bonding as they were twins and I was apple of both of their eye. My present dad treated me no less than his own daughter and after losing his only brother I was like his oxygen. He used to lose his mind and threw the house upside down if I went missing for even a small amount of time.

Kevan Lin and Maya Clark my present parents are the most loving couple I have ever seen. They were very kind to me as well. Maya was more of a friend to me than my mom, she was childless when I started living with them and after trying for a long period of time she was able to conceive with my brother after one year of me moving in with them. Her marriage with Kevan was almost 9years by then. She never mistreated me after my brother's birth instead treated me like I was her lucky charm. She always said I bought luck to her, showered with with motherly love throughout my life. I don't remember my real parents that much but they are all I have now. I will never let anyone harm them even if I have to sacrifice my whole life for them. Now my most important task is I have to find them and save them and for that I need the box left by my mother to me. That is the only thing that can now help me.

I opened my room door and walked inside the lights are off. I switched on the lights of my room and raised my head towards the direction of my bed and what I saw infront of my eye glued my legs to the spot I was standing. I froze to the point as if someone have thrown a bucket of cold water to my entire body.
