Chapter 1
When I opened my eyes again, I felt as though the events of the previous night had occurred ages earlier. My eyes were cut open by the window's outer light. I didn't avoid it since I was unable to take my eyes off the strange surroundings. My heart started to feel a tinge of fear. I kept looking around, trying to remember where I was, but I couldn't locate myself. I struck my head repeatedly in an effort to jog some memory of this location in my head. But my thoughts remained fogged over from the hangover discomfort. I started to feel bad for consuming so much wine. I felt completely helpless since my mind was so foggy and felt like it had been wiped away by the alcohol. I was ready to wake myself up by getting up and washing my face when I suddenly felt two large hands crushing down on my body. It was also on my exposed waist. Alcohol did indeed cause people to think more slowly. I only noticed he was sleeping near me now, probably because the blanket had completely covered him from head to toe. I wanted to remove the cover, but I suddenly had the guts to do so because of an embarrassment-inducing discomfort in my private area. This appeared to be reminding me of what had happened all the time. I forced myself to quit deluding myself by taking a big breath. I had to push myself to face the fact that a foreign guy under my blanket had seized control of the chastity I had guarded for so many years. When I finally saw the person inside the blanket, I quickly lifted it, and my hands started to shake violently. My feet were the first to feel the fear, followed by my head. I was overcome with the desire to yell. Fortunately, I was able to avoid doing anything wrong thanks to the tranquilly I had been taught since I was a young child. I knew him, and he wasn't your typical guy. He was Drake, the renowned Alpha of the Dark Night Pack. He owned half the city and was the leader of his pack. On the other hand, I am the Alpha of Bright Moon Pack's sole heir and his oldest daughter. The Bright Moon Pack and Dark Night Pack share a history of hostility. They are the main rivals of Father. Even though I tried to picture the best-case scenario, my current reality was the worst since I had to offer myself to the person my father detested the most. I had no recollection of last night's insanity. I was a complete b*stard. I also had no idea how this man would feel when he awoke and realised I was there. Even if he was aware that the person beside him while they were sleeping was the Alpha of the Bright Moon Pack, I wasn't sure. If so, I ponder whether he would murder me in order to degrade my father. I turned to face the sleeping man. He was almost optically attractive. A few hair strands meekly adhered to his wheat-coloured cheeks, and his brow was damp with perspiration. His nose was high, his lips were so seductive, and his eyebrows were as black as ink. Even though he was sleeping, he nevertheless emanated a chilly and haughty aura of command. He had a slim build and a straight back, which made it difficult for me to look away without feeling a little breathless. Close to me, his chest rose and fell. I started to feel a little warm, and my eyes felt like fire. My body began to heat up at the mere sight of his chest, and as my gaze dipped downward... I had the impression that I had just woken up from a dream when my phone began to vibrate. I quickly pushed the thoughts away as I began to worry that I would accidentally wake the person sitting next to me. I put up with the pain in my lower body and nearly jumped to pick up the phone that was lying on the ground. At that point, I realised I was about to have one of the most terrifying experiences of my life. I received a call from my dad. "Hello," he said. Despite my best efforts, I could not help but silently mumble even the simplest of sentences. "I didn't run into you after last night's celebration. How are you doing?" I now recall that my father and I went to the annual Alpha Conference last night. I sprang to my feet and dashed to the window to check my bearings. I ought to be in the hotel connected to the conference place based on the common scene outside. I exhaled a breath of relief as I understood that only the room seemed strange. I was worried that I would unintentionally touch my father's wallet at this moment, when he must be enraged. I took a while to gather my thoughts before finally saying, "I'm sorry, Father. Yesterday, I drank too much and passed out in the hotel where the party was hosted. I'm currently with Luke. " I made an effort to seem normal in my tone. I frequently used my boyhood friend Luke as a cover because my father had always had faith in him. "Run back here now. The pack meeting will soon begin. If you are late, you will pay the price as Bright Moon Pack's replacement. "Alright…" Although my father had always been severe, I could tell by the tone in which he spoke that he was now upset. He didn't wait for my response before hanging up the phone. Thankfully, he missed everything. But I couldn't help but feel terrified as I considered that I would still need to endure Father's severe interrogation. I had less than an hour until the meeting started, according to my watch. And given my current appearance, it was evident that I couldn't go. I noticed that there were still traces of the makeup that my sister had diligently helped me apply for the party last night when I looked in the mirror. I wore eye makeup all over my face, making it impossible for anyone to tell who I really was. I was relieved to learn that Drake couldn't have recognised me thanks to this. I hurriedly dialled Luke's number to disguise my panic. To prevent the possibility of being late, I wanted to ask him to drive me home so I could change. What's wrong, Young Miss? Why are you trying to locate me? Luke quickly answered the phone, but he found it to be incredibly noisy. I had no idea what he was up to. "Can you come pick me up?" I asked. My goal is to arrive on time for the pack meeting. " Naturally, Luke responded, "Of course." Whereabouts are you?" "I'm staying at a hotel close to the conference location. Right now, my father is really irate. Just tell him that I spent the entire day with you yesterday if he asks. I made an effort to be as convincing as I could, hoping he would help me trick him. Luke and I shared a similar upbringing. Although, in truth, he had always been careless and unrestrained, to older people, he had always appeared to be a mature and steady guy. Luke quickly screamed, "A hotel?" like a cat whose foot has been stepped on when he learned that I was at the hotel. What did you do the day before? Did you share a bed with anyone? It was who?" I had no idea why Luke would react to this situation so strongly. I found his questions to be obnoxious, like a string of shattered stones pounding my ears. Who was the individual? I turned to face the infamous Alpha Drake, who was asleep. His tactics were so cunning and brutal that practically everyone was aware of them. His father also had a strong dislike for him. You're overthinking things. I only chose to stay here because I was inebriated. Grab me as soon as you can." I had no choice but to lie to Luke because I was afraid that his heart would be broken once more. In any event, when it came to Luke, I was completely at ease. Never once did he have any doubts about me. Give me five minutes, and I'll be there soon, all right. After hearing my justification, Luke reverted to his usual calm and collected self. He was already moving swiftly; I could hear it. He was most likely already en route to my house. I cut the call short and set my phone aside. The clock is ticking. I had to get ready before he arrived. I dug around in the heap of clothing that had been left on the ground. It was challenging to tell them apart because they were mingled with Drake's clothing. Drake had even torn away some of my clothing. I couldn't help but groan at the chaos of last night. I put on the one whole dress that I had just picked up off the ground. I took another glance at the man dozing off on the bed.
