Chapter 1 That Odd Little Voice

2855 Words
Willow is standing in front of her mirror admiring the outfit she had chosen to wear. It is black pants with a colorful yellow top.      "I like the other one better." (Fairy, Twilight, offering her advise). Lately Willow could sense something is new in her body. She could swear she is hearing a voice inside her head although she thinks she is wrong. It has to be her own thoughts. What else could it be?      "Get it off!  Get it off!  I don't like this one wear the other one!" (Twilight throwing  a fit when she doesn't think that she is going to get her way). Okay! Okay! She told herself as she took back out the blue jeans and purple shirt covered in beautiful bright flowers. Now because of all her changing it gives her less time to apply her makeup. She didn't have to worry about curling her hair. It was naturally curly and fell in long curls down to her waist. She had red, orange, and yellow ombred hair. She just wished she was a little taller like her friends. She has a cute small nose. Her figure is almost perfect. She looked at herself one last time in the mirror. It'll have to do she thought.      "You'll thank me later.  When Smokey thinks you're sizzling hot." (Twilight) She just couldn't help thinking where in the hell do these thoughts come from? It sure the hell doesn't sound like me. Without giving it much more thought off to the bus stop she goes to meet Ginger, Gina, and Smokey. Everyone of them can't wait for Willow to turn 18 so that they can share this magical world with her. Until then they are bound by silence. The silence of both sides of the mystical realms. Willow finally arrived at the schools bus stop. "What did I miss? she asked. Sorry I am so late. I've been fighting all morning with some imaginary voice inside my head." Ginger and Gina just look at each other, as if to say it's starting. Both of them nodded their head. Little did they know she has been fighting with this situation for a year now. However if she told them that they would think she is crazy for sure. The Fairies use telepathy to hear each other's thoughts. The Fairy in Willow's head can hear them too. The only reason Willow can't decipher the thoughts too is because she still has yet to transform. Jesse and Dawson came running down the road last as usual. It was like this every school year. They were both always oblivious to what was going on around them. So they felt no weird vibes the others were sending out. Fairies weren't the only telepaths Dragons were too. Smokey was reminding them that although they were all different Willow still has yet to change into her Fairy that is showing herself only in Willow's mind. She knows nothing about her realm and what they call home. "Yes we know!" the two of them shot back at the same time. They were so loud you would think the three Dragons were deaf. "Pinch poke you owe me a coke," Gina said to Ginger pinching and poking her. "What did you do that for?" Willow asked. "You didn't say anything at the same time." She said as a matter of fact tone in her voice.      "Duh.  They were thinking it." said (Twilight Willow's Fairy). Standing there shocked again but trying real hard not to let it show. What are the others going to think of me if they find out that I am really hearing this little voice in my head.      "There is nothing crazy about me I am as smart as you are big. (Twilight). These six have been friends since summer before their freshman year. Smokey's parents own a game room in town called Mystic Falls. It is the hottest spot in town. There is even caves and water falls coming out of the walls. Although Smokey had spent a lot of time up on Rose Lovers Mountain with Willow.  She hasn't spent any time at his house.      "This year that'll all change."(Twilight). There was that sneaky little, ease dropping on my thoughts again, voice. She just tried her best to ignore it. The harder she tried the louder it got. The bus pulled up which distracted her from the voice in her head. They piled on Dawson bringing up the rear. As usual. He just walked slowly every where that he went. Didn't bother him at all. Mystic Falls that's where they all met.  It is the guys typical hang out,of course, because of Smokey's parents. The girls decided to go hang out there on one of their Friday do something new nights. The object of the night was to find somewhere they enjoyed being on the weekends so they could retire the Friday night search. Looks like they found it. It was so easy to find something to do there because they have such a wide variety. The atmosphere was euphoric. Once you were inside there was no place you'd rather be. It's music was awesome they played so many different kinds. They all seemed to be up beat regardless of the genre. They serve burgers, fries, and milkshakes. They also have a menu of food that you can also order off of. A dance floor with neon and sparkly lights. Along with strobe lights and disco balls. You can play video games in one area, play fuse ball, and shoot pool all in different areas. It was definitely amazing. They have put a lot of hard work into the place and by the way that they took care of it showed pride and love for not only what they do but the kids too. Their find something new Friday nights was now officially retired. In the beginning the girls pretty much kept to themselves. They didn't notice that they were being watched by three gorgeous guys. Until one night Dawson got the nerve to walk up to Ginger and strike up a conversation. They were also the very first couple of our little group. Smokey was standing against the wall smoking a cigarette.      "What the Hell?  You know he is a fox.  Everything you would want in a guy.  Maybe we don't know if he's everything but don't lose your chance to find out by letting some other girl walk right in here and steal what you want because you're scared and she's not!" (Twilight). When Willow was thinking back she realized that little voice has been there a lot more than she thought. How off that she was so able to dismiss itm then.  Now it's like it takes over and she has to submit to it. Like she doesn't have a choice. Either way whether it was her or the voice she walked up to Smokey and asked him for a drag off his cigarette. He could recall how sexy he thought it was. How sexy she was as she took a long slow drag. It had him staring at her beautiful mouth. Her lipstick was a plum color which matched the rest of her make up. Her eyes were done in lilac, lavender, and white. Her blush was a pink color, Not a lot, just enough to make her cheeks look rosy. Her eyeliner was a bright color. of purple that just made her blue eyes pop. She Had the most sexy scent she wore. "Babe by Fabragee. He was hooked and so was she. It was as if he looked feel into her soul. He knew though he'd have to wait just a little while longer but he didn't mind. He could just dream of the many ways it could unfold as he was waiting. His friends were lucky though because the other two girls being older than Willow already knew who and what they were. Being a dragon he knew one thing it was possible to love a Fairy. The fact was he was already in love with Willow. Being a Dragon he didn't know if it was possible to be with a Fairy. Yet, he watched two of his friends fall in love and their relationship was no different they said in this realm or theirs. So that was that he had fallen in love with Willow. Now the question was can he make Willow fall in love with him? Either way was there was no turning back now. When Willow turned 18 and gets over the shock of being a Fairy and finding out what he is, a Dragon, he was going to tell her that way they might just have a fighting chance at something extraordinary. Another thing the 5 of them worry about is that when she becomes all she is meant to be will she be mad at them for not telling her? Instead will she be so happy that she is not completely bonkers and the voices inside of her head were real. Will she understand that by their laws of the realm and by both races that they were not allowed to tell? Ever since that night they had all become friends, a little more than some, they all loved and respected the others for who they were when they were together. The kinda friendship, best friends, one is lucky feel comfortable calling one person that. They were 6 times that they were all best friends and even though their lives may change and they have to take different paths they knew that would always remain the same and never change. Now they will have to help one of their own, Willow, be comfortable in her own skin since her mom was not on this earth long enough to tell her daughter who and what she was. Now they would be her guides along with others that will help her along the way. Although Jesse and Ginger had been together since that first night. Dawson and Gina had just gotten together a few weeks ago. Which gave her hope for her and Smokey.      "Just give it a few more weeks and you won't be able to keep your hands off of each other."  (Twilight) Where is this coming from? She didn't even know who to ask her dad was gone so much on business. I guess I could ask my step mom She might know something that'll help me she thought. However she doesn't know much about my family so it's highly unlikely that she could help me with this. Maybe she has had something similar happen to her or one of her friends. I wonder where this will take place Smokey thought to himself? Will it be be somewhere she's familiar with? Will it be somewhere she doesn't know? He wasn'tsure how all of this worked but he was going to put this on a need to be found out list for sure. She may not be able to go to the book of Magical, Mystic, And Mythological Realms. Secrets to them all. But he could and would. He had to know. So for homeroom he asked to go to the library. He could see through her glamour she was a Mermaid and since she could see right through him he told her he wanted to find out more about his heritage. Then he felt sad for her because he has someone alive that walked him through his transformation and she did not. "Sure I'll give you the pass, my love, I wish more teenagers like you wanted to find out who they are meant to be and where they came from." So she wrote him out a pass to the library and sent him on his way. Once inside he went to where the Book was locked up. Most humans thought the books were for looks unless you you were immortal and knew what you were looking for. At least that was the legend. Little did they know the Book held it's own sense of magic that could only be seen by the viewer. In order to be a viewer your name and hand print must match what has been saved in the system for that certain person's power will be revealed to them and which realm they are from and it will let you see into the past, the present, and the future of anyone or thing living in any realm. He put his hand lightly onto the glass case which opened a door for the Book and a door to a room where you could go and read or talk to the Book to get your answers without being seen. Then the glamour will cause the Book to appear as though it never left its case. Once in the room the outside door turns back into a wall and the impossible is complete. The book began flipping pages back and forth above the Book until it came upon the page you had your heart on seeing. It did this for about a minute reading his heart and the section entitled Fairies opened up. Who knew there was a book that read you before you read it? Pretty crazy right? He began to read. What to do when you change? What is each Fairy's purpose on Earth? There were even pictures. What is the purpose of all the Fairies combined? He found Ginger's and Gina's right off.   Their jobs were at the top of the list because of their job roles. They were at the front of the Book. There was Willow's name in big print on the first page of the section. Her picture wasn't there yet , because she has yet to transform, but her jobs title was the Keeper Of All Souls. "Wow," he thought the Keeper Of All Souls." That was a big responsibility no not big HUGE. He had even more admiration for her as if he didn't already have plenty of things that made her special to him. "Okay, Okay," he told himself, " Focus on what it was that brought you down here." When a Fairy changes is she in a familiar place? Does she always know what is happening to her? "Nosy much?" his Dragon, Fearless asked. "Oh there you are. Hadn't heard from you in a couple of days." "Were you afraid I'd left you?" "Hoped is more like it." Smokey relayed back inside his own mind. Which much like Fairies is where his dragon lived when in human form. As he flipped pages he began to read. Yes she Will immediately know where she is at. The answer to your other question. No. She will not know what's happened to her in the beginning unless her mother has told her stories of the Fairy Lands. What if her mom died when she was to young to remember? Once the initial shock wears off from her changing into her new form, if there are any memories at all, they will come flooding back. Like a bridge letting go. What if there aren't any aren't any memories of her mother telling her about Fairies and Fairy Isle. Then she will not only need support from her Fairy friends but from her Dragon friends as well. How did you know the fairy I speaking of? Only because she is a very important Fairy and we are waiting on her. The day of her 18th birthday go to the place where she is the most comfortable and wait there. That's where you will find her. Try not to shock her anymore than she already is. Her Fairy friends should be the ones to turn into her size for now. They can help her through the first few stages but she will need all her friends to help her through the rest. All the Fairies will need help from all of you. When the time comes you'll know it. You will feel it run through your blood just like you run through hers. The book turned off. Questions answered no more left to say. He exited the door in the same way he came. Out his hand on the glass and returned it good as new. The replica of the Book disappeared. Now all that showed was the original book. In All it's glory. The book about magical worlds and mystical creatures are all the things humans read in Fairy Tale books to their children but have no clue that they are real. Ginger caught up with Gina and Willow in the hall after third period. "Where are we going for lunch?" "Mazzio's." Came an answer from, a few voices the girls recognized as their other friends, behind. The girls locked arms like the did on the Wizard Of Oz. "We're off to Mazzios. To see the wonderful Wizard of Pizza." They sang as they skipped. The boys just followed along humming as they walked. Today, as any other day, they were the girls back up. No one dared to mess with them when the guys were around. .
