2768 Words
As Willow's 18th birthday draws near her and her friends become anxious. The Fairy World has big plans for her. Everyone of them know it. Everyone except Willow that is. Willow was still in the dark about Fairy World at least until she's 18 which is just around the corner now. No one including her step mom and dad knew how she was going to take this.      Willow Ginger, and Gina were supposed to meet the guys that Friday night at Mystic Falls.  When they showed. up they were not surprised at where they would find everybody.  Smokey was on the pool table, Jesse was playing fuse ball, and Dawson was in the arcade playing video games.  The girls all split up to find their mates.      While Ginger and Gina were doused with kisses and hugs. Willow was still awaiting her turn wondering if Smokey couldn't tell that she likes him or just didn't like her in the same way.      "Oh I do my Darling! Just a little longer I promise and then we won't be able to keep our hands off each other." He thought in his head after reading her thoughts. How can she not know I like her? Smokey thought to himself or at least wished it was just to himself.       "Are you crazy?  You've done everything you were supposed to do.  She is crazy about you.  Besides that if we're lucky we just have to wait until tomorrow morning and then maybe possibly a day or two longer let the shock wear off.  Then we'll be able to tell her.  You know I've been talking to the Fairy mainly at night when you slumber.  She knows Willow likes you and she can't wait to give me the go round round.  If you know what I mean.  So she'll let us know when the time is right."  Fearless said.      Meanwhile at home Eliza and Willow's dad were we're setting up for Willow's party. It was going to be the biggest blowout of the year. They had even rented a dance floor and her dad was putting it together on the patio. With Willow's dad busy on that task. Eliza was putting together little baskets filled with candy and using Blueberry, Sky Blue, and White to wrap around them and tie them up. Although Willow was just expecting A small crowd of her friends and family.  What Willow doesn't know that some of her family was Fairies and they stayed in Fairy Land year round.  The only time changed into human form was for Events like this.  When an important Fairy such as Willow turns for the first time they want her to know that they are there for her too.  As she is adjusting to her new role as keeper of the Souls.      All of them had left her in good hands Gina and Ginger including Willow's mom. This put a little pressure on the two of them, but nothing they couldn't handle. TOGETHER!      Willow was running the pool table. It was now around 10:00 pm. Ginger and Gina bond together, as always, to get Willow and drag her away from the pool table, but tonight was actually not your typical night. It was going to be extraordinary for her and all her friends. They knew they were needed to get her home. It was going on midnight. Since Willow was born July 4th at 1:00am in the morning hours it will be the time She changes on the dot. They had to get her up Rose Lovers Mountain quickly. All the Fairies will draw her with their Magic and Fairy Dust to draw her to where the transformation is to take place. Gina and Ginger being Fairies themselves they already know.      Willow's mate and the Fairy's mate too, of course will be compelled to be there too. He will be in a trance too. The Fairies magical pull will lead and guide him to the spot so that when she returns to human form he'll will be there waiting for her and will know and she will know that by the power of love and supernatural forces that they would be his and hers for the rest of their lives.       Every Fairy. has always been matched with their perfect mate. Although it happens to all of them IT is not always on the day that they become a Fairy, but since Willow's situation is unique. Finding her mate ,must also happen on the same night, because she will need him tremendously throughout her journey.      He will be there for her through the ups and downs she will encounter being a Fairy. Her job is the hardest of Fairy Isle. Willow's task as a Fairy is so important.   After Willow changes she will know immediately what to do.        The girls finally dragged her out of the game room kick in and screaming at a quarter to 11:00 pm.      "You have a long day tomorrow. Ginger reminded her".      "I was winning," she argued.      "Just look at the bright side there will be more ass to kick tomorrow," Gina told her.      "I suppose you've got a point," she replied.      All three of the girls laughed their asses off. It was such a light and airy feeling of nostalgia.      "Besides that it's time for me to be let loose," Twilight was back.      "You're coming out! GREAT!" Willow thought. What she didn't realize is that she wasn't the only one in her head but so we're all her friends.       "Your mind might be coming into me and giving me life.  Think about that over the next two hours." (Twilight).      "What is that supposed to mean?" she asked arguing with herself.      "Don't worry your precious little head about it.  You'll figure it out long before the sun rises,"(Twilight). Ginger and Gina both recognized the preoccupied look you get when your Fairy's up there murmuring to you.      Gina Was the first one to break the silence, "Everything okay in there?"      "Sorry just lost in side my head." Willow replied sounding a little pissed.      That Fairy of hers must really be something. I can't wait to meet her. Ginger thought quietly but loud to some. Her second thought was hopefully she wasn't thinking out loud. She'd been known to do that from time to time. Her Fairy agreed with her she couldn't wait to meet one of my best friends special little secret that would bond the three of them together. She looked around and no one seemed to be surprised so she assumed that she was all right.      They all piled into the little car. Gina was driving tonight. She had a small Toyota Celica in a bright green color.       She headed up the road towards Rose Lover's Mountain. This was Willow's Fairy Land.      "Rose Lover's Mountain" got it's name centuries ago from a couple of star crossed lovers. Known today as Willow's great, great, great grandparents. Yes that's right 3 greats.      Up on Rose Lover's Mountain preparations were on going getting it ready for Willow's big celebration. Eliza was still working away on party favours and her dad was working on the tables and chairs Dance floor down and DJ ordered.      His efforts were now needed elsewhere. So he got to it. She didn't know it yet, but her party would likely start that night and last into wee hours of the next night.      They arrived at Willow's at midnight after stoping off to get a bite to eat. One hour to count down.      " Is it just me or does the air up here surrounding the place feel a little bit strange tonight?"       Damn she's intuitive she thought. She even noticed the air around them. Her powers were much more stronger than most Fairies. It was just then that Gina realized how strong.      All of the girls anxiety was peaked again as the time grew closer. Both of the girls knew where Willow would change it was their own secret wonderland. They wouldn't have to go far.       Well it was that time 1:00 am and it was extremely quiet on the Mountain. As if in a trance she got up off the bed where she was sitting and walked out the back door. Ginger and Gina close on her heels.      Her dad and her step mom heard the back door close.       "She's going to come back a changed girl." her dad said. Her step mom just nodded as the tears filled her eyes because she knew what this meant. All she could do is hope that their relationship stays intact.      Willow walked into her garden down one of the paths then all of a sudden "Bam" she was gone.     Her trance wore off and she looked around her freaking out all the flowers were huge and high above her. What was going on? This definitely had to be a dream.      "I am the voice inside Your head.  I am you and you are me."(Twilight)      She looked down and saw her 2 inch body. She felt so light then all she sees she was all sparkly and what were these things on her back?      "Wings? Wings?! she cried out and then she touched her ears and they were pointed.      Then it all came flooding back. All the stories her mom used to tell her about Fairy Land then it dawned on her. It was true all true. Her hair was Omebred Bright red on top, the next layer orange and the last layer yellow. Her dress was a red bodice with roses covering her breast. Her skirt was mixtures of red, orange, and yellow. They fell down off her waist and were cut to look like rose pedals.      She looked up and saw all kinds of Fairies flying busily around the flowers. Some glittered, some glowed, and some sparkled each one had something different to offer the flowers.      My garden. I'm in my own garden it just came to her all of a sudden. She could feel her mom here. She felt her head. She has a nice up do with a braid wrapped all the way around it. It had a flower in it as did all the Fairies. She was a Fairy and that voice inside her head when she was human was her Fairy. So it was all starting to make sense as much sense as it could make anyway.      All of a sudden She looked up and she recognized the next two Fairies flying towards her. Gina and Ginger.      As they got close enough to her She started yelling so they could hear her, "Well Well why didn't you two give me some heads up about what was getting ready to happen to me?"      "You don't have to yell," Ginger told her.       "Yeah we can hear you just like when we're human."      "How am I supposed to know that seeing as how no one bothered to tell me I was a Fairy. Do you realize how crazy that sounds coming out of my mouth?" The ones who knew exactly where I was going and exactly who she watched I was going to be and you never said a thing."     BGinger explained to her about Fairy Law and why they could never tell they were bound by the Laws of the realm.     "No hints no nothing," Willow said in a calm composed voice.      "We couldn't," the girls said in unison.       This caused Willow to laugh.       Then out of nowhere there was another face she recognized.      My three girls together at last."      "Mom," Willow squinted.      "Yes it is me," her mom replied. "Just look at you. "That fiery red, orange, and yellow hair. With that bright red bodice with roses covering the breasts. Yellow and orange cuts in her skirt that were cut to look like rose pedals.     "My beautiful baby girl."    Her mom was extraordinary. All in white and gold her wings were white just like her dress. Willow ran up and gave her the biggest hug that she possibly could. The other two followed flying around. "I missed you so much, mom," Willow said with tears running down her face. "I know sweety but when I had to come here I was so desperately needed I am the Keeper of Love. In order to keep love in both worlds. I could only do this from where my powers were the greatest. You were to young to understand what was going on. So I taught you the best I could through our gardening. Through your Fairy tales of Fairy Isle and Fairy World how they were connected by Fairies. All kinds of different Fairies." "It all came rushing back every thing you ever told me and taught me. That's how I figured out who and what I was. As I finally pieced it all together the only thing that I can remember thinking was thank God I wasn't crazy. These two personalities going full force at each other one scared and one just a little bit on the fiery side, I guess that one would be me." She smiled real big. She was a beautiful site in all her glory. Finally she was able to break out. She pulled her hair out of its bun and braids and let it fall free around her. The pretty fiery colors red, orange, and yellow spilling all around her. Finally she was whole! "Is dad a Fairy too?" Willow asked. "You'll have to ask him that yourself," her mom replied, "Just remember there are different Isles on this Island and there are all kinds of different creatures that preside on them with us. We are peaceful creatures and therefore good to everyone no matter who or what they may be in another form. Just listen to your heart Willow it will always point you in the right direction. That is one part of us that will never fail us. I must go now but I'll try to make an appearance at your party this evening." She gave her a kiss on the forehead and she flew away. At first Willow thought she had be dreaming but when she looked down her body was still just tiny and she ran her fingers across her wings she could feel it all the way down to the soul. It was as if this were instilled in her through her entire life. "You are not dreaming." Ginger said. Upon her mom 's dismissal the girls had landed on their feet next to her. The beautiful colors in their hair were sparkling. When she looked down hers was too. She guessed she was to busy trying to take everything in that she didn't even notice what she completely looked like as a Fairy. She was outstanding if she did think so herself. "Alright" Gina said, "reading her mind." That's when Willow realized they could read each other's minds. They could always read hers, but hers was blocked until she changed into her Fairy for the first time. Now it was all clear. Her powers were strong here and she could feel them. The reason for the linking of different species minds were a protection for them when they needed help or needed to talk to them and could not speak out loud. Keeping their secret a secret so to speak. "Let's get out of here," Ginger spoke breaking the awkward silence between the three friends. Willow followed them to a corner of the garden that could not be seen by humans it was like a magical mirror in between and just as they became Fairy's it was that quick and they were once again in their human form.        When she came walking around the corner she got another suprise.  Smokey was there not sure how he got there he didn't remember.  Her eyes lit up and then his eyes latched with hers.  That was it they knew right then that they would never be with another.  They all four walked off they knew now so Smokey wouldn't be so nervous when he has to tell her. Now it was time to get Willow ready for her party later that night. The girls had already brought their backpacks, snacks, and sleeping bags. They had already known that Willow wouldn't sleep well that evening due to her adrenaline rush and her need to ask a million questions. They knew her well. Author's Note:  The first transformation can you imagine?  I can only imagine how Willow must have felt when Twilight took over her for the very first time.  Two totally different personalities one shared heart and soul.
