Chapter 15 The Allure Of Magic

     The secrets inside the bags you girls now hold.  Are the secrets from old.  Many roads traveled to get into your hands.  From my grandma to me and hers to her and so on.  Now I'm going to share my magic with you.  For times when you need it an enemy is near.  Too times when you just need a touch of something so awesome it's cool. Each time you pull something out I hope you think of me because I will be here just thinking of you.

                                   These magic bags hold,                                In a magical world,                                                                                   Secrets of the unknown,                               With all kinds of creatures,                                                                     Sometimes at nightfall,                                 Magic is a given,                                                                                       You can still hear them moan.                     And one of its best features.

                                  Some are of new magic,                                Some of the greats,                                                                                Some are of the magic of old,                     Some of the known,                                                                                  The books are magical,                                 Some of the magic realms,                                                                     And trimmed in gold.                               And some of your own.

                                                                   So come on and take a walk,                                                                                                                                           Next to me for a while,                                                                                                                                                       I'll give you all you need,                                                                                                                                                  When you want to turn up the dial.

                                                                   The bag you now hold,                                                                                                                                                       Will reveal the magic inside,                                                                                                                                             Then buckle uptight,                                                                                                                                                           For one Hell of a ride.

    Inside she had given them all kinds of magical things.  (More Detail soon).  She even gave them each a lucky rabbit's foot keyring each one holding a mysterious key.  I was given one of these by my mom when I was about your age.  Around 5 miles out passed Cry Babies Bridge.  Where the Weeping Willows grow you will find a little stone cottage hidden inside their braches you can use these keys at any time.  This is where I practiced a lot of my magic.  It's where I wrote some of these spells and it's where I went sometimes if I just wanted to be alone.

     As beginners, you need a place to practice your spells and potions.  Trust and believe you couldn't find a more magical space.  It has centuries of magic within the walls.  If they could talk what tales they could tell.  Mystery wraps itself in the thresholds.  You can feel its aura luring you in. 

      If you will look in your bag of tools you'll find some of what you need to get you started on some beginner's spells.  There are some different colored candles, crystals, feathers, etc.  Every Fairy, Sorceress, Wizzard, Warlock, Witch needs a good bag of tools because we will practice magic.  It's in our blood.  There's no running from it so you might as well embrace it and be the best there is to be.  Turn all your wildest dreams and desires into reality.  Remember we do not just practice magic for us but the whole realm as well.

     I have included a book I named and put together just for the 3 of you girls:  Mystical, Magical, Realm of Enchantment.

      Enchanment is that great Feeling of pleasure or delight when participating in something that you enjoy.  It can also be the state of being under a spell, magic.  A realm of mystery and enchantment.

     What we are going to focus on first is a few of my spells.  As you grow in the magic you will want to.           write spells of your own.

                      Truth Spell.                                                          Awaken Spell

              Open his/her heart,                                                  Awake from your,                                                                             Letting all be seen,                                                 Staggering slumber,                                                                         Make sure nothing,                                              1-2-3 Awake unto thee,                                                             Is blocked when it comes to me,                                   Awake for a brand,                                                                           They say the truth,                                                    Dawn has risen,                                                                             Shall set you free,                                             Awake I command of thee,                                                                        I mote it,                                                                       I mote it,                                                                                     So shall it be!                                                              So shall it be!

                          Unseen Enemy Spell                                                    Money Spell                                 

                    To reveal an unseen Enemy,                                           Show unto me,

                  Unseen Unknown though he be,                                    The Career That,

                      He shall be revealed to me,                                       Is meant to be mine,

                 All the Elements work together,                                        Lead me gently,

                     To unmask our fatal enemy.                                              I shall go,

                                                                Depression Banning Spell 

                                                                    I forbid depression,

                                                                    To make me sad,

                                                                    To make me blue,    

                                                                   Just as it came on,

                                                                    I shall let it loose.

                                                                  So it cannot haunt me,

                                                                   Or follow me around,

                                                                     Causing me pain,

                                                                    I forbid it this day,

                    Smart Spell                                                                     Health Spell

         Give me the knowledge,                                                    This is for my mind,

                  To understand,                                                              Body and Soul,

                   All the words,                                                      Sickness must not enter here,

                     Of wisdom,                                                            For this is a sacred zone,

                 To find what I'm,                                                       He gave my spirit to dwell,

                    Looking for,                                                                It was only meant for me.

          When I go off to seek.                                                                      I Mote It...

     With your Herbs, Candles, And Spells you have more than enough to get you started I would just focus on that alone until you get familiar with everything.  I know when you first see all this stuff it can be a bit overwhelming.  As you settle in with it though it will become second nature to you.  You will learn how to practice it in all that you do.  I look forward to seeing some of the spells you create and notes on the research you will do once you get this down you will be starving for more.  There is one more thing that you need to know before you go out on your own.  Where does all the magic in the world come from? might ask.  It comes from the 4 Elements that center our realms.

     So first of all when you call upon the elements before you start your spells and working on your magic no matter what type of magic you are doing.  There is a circle out back of the cottage that is made out of small stones.  Inside the circle are small stones that make up a plus sign.  Each of you stands in a piece of the circle and call out to the elements.  

                 Air                                                                                      Earth

      I call to the air too.                                                               Hold me down,

    Help me not to forget,                                                Let your gravity weigh me,

              To breathe.                                                         To your blessed ground,

   Breathe your life into me,                                           I need you tonight to keep, 

As I work tonight/blessed be.                                       I grounded when I see

                                                                                        Sights that I have never seen.

                             Fire-Water

            As I light this candle,                                                   Let your waves come to me,

              Unto you, this night,                                                   So that they may get me wet,

      You are amazing in my sight,                                        Your salt in my skin will help,

     As I work to keep this realm safe,                                       My magic as it grows,

Please keep your flame burning bright.                                 As tall as your waves,

                                                                                                 Bouncing around to and fro.

     As we seal the circle.   Protect us tonight as we enter into a new life.  Where things are uncertain and not always what they seem.  Your 4 corners are the constent in this realm of spells and dreams.  Keep us safe throughout the night and don't let us out of your sight.
