Chapter 16. Practical Magic

Willow was in her room going through her tool kit when Eliza knocked on her door.

     "Come in,"  Willow called out.

     "Hey.  What are you up to?" Eliza asked her.

     "I was just going through the tool kit you gave me.  What's up?" Willow replied back.

    "Come with me to my sitting room for a few minutes.  I have something else for you," she told her.   

     Willow got up  and followed her like she asked her to.  They walked upstairs and through a set of beads that were hanging down in front of her sitting room door.  On the floor was this beatiful trunk that doubled as a sitting bench.  The bottom half was made of cedar. It had carved out Fairies all over it.  Dark brown was the color of the stain.  Above it was a latched lid with a lock.  It was padded on the top.  There were  dark purple, lavender, and liliac big roses.  In the same colors there were small hearts scattered in the empty spaces around the roses.  It had her name embroidered across the top in the fabric.  It was on of the most beautiful things that she had ever laid eyes on.

     Eliza said, "I hope that you like it.  I wanted to give you something special.  You're something special.  You are going to need a place for all your secrets, things that you want to keep, and things that are special to you."

     She ran over to her and threw her arms around her.  "Thank you.  You know I love you don't you?  You have been the mother figure in my life since I was little.  I couldn't have asked for anyone better.  Being there for me, well somehow, you always made the time.  I'm so grateful to have you in my life. I just want you to know that."

     "Oh baby, I know you are.  I love you too.  You and your dad mean the world to me.  You guys are my life.  I wouldn't do one thing differently if I were given the chance to do it all again.  This life won't always be easy.  Why dont you go ahead and open your chest."  Eliza said.

     She opened up the chest.  There was a journal with all different color of pens.  On the front it read "For the thoughts and feelings that you always want to remember."  Lying on a small tray that slid into Crevices close to the top of the chest was a necklace with a small gold shaped heart.  It matched the one that Eliza had.  The chain was just the right size for the heart to rest perfectly above Willow's charm.  "It's so pretty," Willow told her.

     "It's special too.  I have the matching one. If we ever need each other for any reason the hearts will light up.  So anytime something is wrong or you just need to see me all you have to do is whisper Eliza into the heart and mine will light up and show me where you are and vise versa."

     "Really that's cool.  It makes me feel better especially after everything that we've already been through.  Not only with Temptation and Magnum,but vampires too.  It makes me wonder what will be next.  I was also thinking about seeing if you cared if we spent the night at your cottage so that we can practice on some of our magic?" Willow asked her.

     "I don't care.  If you guys decide to I would feel better if you asked the guys to stay with you.  There are two bedrooms, but the place is really spacious.  You'll see what I mean when you go in. Don't get me wrong it is a stone cottage it's just not that little.  Glamour makes it appear smaller than it is.  There are plenty of herbs and various things there that you might want or need for your spells or the magic you are doing.  Everything else you should find in your tool bag."

     "Okay thanks.  Thanks for everything."

     "Your welcome.  I'll have your dad bring your chest into your room. I'll see you and the girls sometime tomorrow and you can tell me how it went tonight."

     "Okay we'll come and find you tomorrow evening and tell you what we experience on our first magic making night."  Willow turned and left the room.

     From Eliza's room she went and found everyone downstairs and told them what she wanted to do.

     They all agreed that it sounded like fun and they would all come.  So after about an hour they all took off for the cottage. They found it right where she said it would be.  It looked like a small stone cottage on the outside but the inside on the other hand was huge and decorated lovely.  She had live plants hanging in all the rooms in every corner.  Willow figured there was probably a  reason behind it.  Every room had it's own color scheme. It was amazing and huge on the inside.  There was a glass room that had no walls just windows.  One room had herb gardens growing in it and a skylight winow to let sunlight in.  Every room was different and distinct in its own way.

   The guys startd watching T.V.  The girls were anxious to get started on their magic.  They went into the kichen and began by lighting the. Black candle (pyschic protection).

     The girls said this spell together.  A fog filled the room.  As they walked into it.  They did not  know exactly what they were seeing.  Levi was there laying on the bed asleep and Lacy was touching his head.  I read about this let it play out.  It was if she were in a trance to.  Let' do the awaking spell I think she is trying to see in his head.  They looked up the awakening spell real quick.

 He woke up right away.  She didn't however.  Her body fell limp by his side.  She was still breathing but wouldn't come out of the sleep.  They couldn't tell where they were at.  

      They got out their spell books and started going through them.  The girls thought that maybe the Monn's  Phases could help them to put things into perspective.  They thought maybe it would ground them and show them the place where they were at and the place they needed to go.  Gina began looking up different:                                                           Phases Of The Moon

     As interesting as the moon signs were.  They only knew what was happening outside with the moon at that moment.  It got them no closer to knowing where they were at when they seen this take place.  It just helped with them knowing what was going on around them by which phase the moon was in outside.   That way they new how much light they would have to work with.  What eleents they had on their side for the night.  It happened to be a Full Moon.  However, when they walked out they were no closer than when they started.  So they decided to keep an eye out and close to Levi and Lacey until they knew for sure what was going on and what she was trying to do to him.  

      We need to also let Eliza know what we saw in our conjuring she I'm for certain knows something that we don't  Let's leave it for now and  do some more investigating tomorrow.
