Chapter 6 A Rude Awakening

     As a brand new couple they really didn't think they would have to be fighting side by side so soon.  Smokey always knew there might be a day when this might happen he just didn't think it would quite happen this way.

     They called up all the troops and they all met down at Smokey's mom and dad's game room.  That way if anyone was tracking them they would just blend in with all the teenagers around them.

     Lawerence just listened as Elizabeth did all the talking.

      "There is. A Wizzard named Magnum and a female Dragon not sure of her name yet.  They are looking for the secret of souls.  Have you ever heard of him?" She asked.

     "No not right off.  It is definately something that needs looking into, The book of Magical, Mystic, And Mythological Realms. Secrets to them all.Once inside he went to where the Book was locked up. Most humans thought the books were for looks unless you you were immortal and knew what you were looking for. At least that was the legend. Little did they know the Book held it's own sense of magic that could only be seen by the viewer. In order to be a viewer your name and hand print must match what has been saved in the system for that certain person's power will be revealed to them and which realm they are from and it will let you see into the past, the present, and the future of anyone or thing living in any realm. He put his hand lightly onto the glass case which opened a door for the Book and a door to a room where you could go and read or talk to the Book to get your answers without being seen. Then the glamour will cause the Book to appear as though it never left its case. Once in the room the outside door turns back into a wall and the impossible is complete.

The book began flipping pages back and forth above the Book until it came upon the page you had your heart on seeing. It did this for about a minute reading his heart and the section entitled Wizards opened up. Who knew there was a book that read you before you read it? Pretty crazy right? He began to read. This should be able to tell us something.

"There is something about that book no matter how many times I go to it or watch someone else use it I'm still amazed by it."

     "You can turn into a Dragon Dawson how could anything be more amazing than that?  Besides that I'm sure you've seen your girl friends Fairy by now."

     "No not yet she has never changed in front of me.  Ginger either Jesse said.  Why did Willow change in front of you?"

     "Fearless took her for a ride."

    "Really that sounds romantic.  Don't think i am being gay or nothing.  It just is.

     "I know that is how it felt to me too.  I was thinking the same thing when she was riding on my back.  It was such a good feeling.  Probably because that's what Fearless and Twilights feelings."

     "To be honest I never even thought of that.  How did you come up with it?"

     "After Willow changed to Twilight no one showed her how to fly.  I suggested we change and fly together and that's when she told me.  So I told her I would take her for a ride first and then we would see where she was at after that and if she still wanted to learn how to fly I'd teach her.  Then I taught her how to fly."

     "That is so cool.  I never thought of it.  Gina would probably love to fly like that."

     "Just don't tell her where you got the idea.  I'm sure she's already heard.  Those two couldn't wait to find out who, what, where, and when.

     "Do you know of this Wizard that they call Magnum?" Smokey asked the book.

    The pages flew open.  "This is all the lineage I have on that family, but it goes quite a ways back."

     "What exactly are you looking for?" The book asked.

     "We're looking for the reason Magnum may be looking for the secrets of the souls."

     "Here it says in the book that many many many centuries ago this family was stripped of their powers and their souls were taken so that their family and every one under this family were doomed to to walk the Earth soulless.  The curse or spell that they used can't be undone.  He maybe looking for a soul to replace his.  They have been dabbling in Black Magic for sometime.  Since they no longer had their magic they found other ways to pass down the magic to future generations.  White Magic never works for evil or to get themselves things that they want to aquire.  So it had to be Black Magic most of their spell books didn't even work anymore.  Some of them would work and some wouldn't it was just never good when they would get mixed up either way it wasn't good because you never knew what the outcome would be.  Just watch yourselves and watch Willow now that she belongs to you. "

     The book shut.Nothing else to be said.

     Smokey and Dawson replaced the book.  Illusion was complete it looked as though it never was out of its case.

     When they got back they relayed what the book told them.

     "It just sounds to easy to be true,"  Willow said.  "If all he wanted to do was replace he wouldn't be looking that hard.  I say he has something big in the works.  Maybe their souls are connected to their original powers.  Maybe he thinks he can get souls for everyone in his linage."

     "I'm not sure what he is all about.  Our main focus is to protect Willow. No one knows yet that she is the Keeper of souls and we're going to keep it that way." Smokey said.

    "We are going to take shifts to make sure a few of us are always here to protect her. We need to go and talk to your dad next. He may know a way that we may not know." Smokey said.

     "I am going to talk to Eliza today. I'm still not sure what she is or what her powers are capable of. I never did get a chance to ask her that night.

     Willow found Eliza that day in the Parlour dusting things up.  Before she even turned around to see who was in the room with her she began to speak, "Willow I thought you might be coming to see me."

     "Dad told me if I wanted to find out another creature on this realms strenths I would have to ask them myself.  I was going to come to you the night of the party.  Then everything got so crazy that I never had the chance. So I'm asking you now.  We need help."

     "Yes I've heard about what's going on down the line.   I'm a sorceress.  When the time comes my poweras are there to help you.  There will be more of us coming with this threatening our realm."

     "Do you do magic?"  She asked.

     "Sort of I have Magical Powers.  These are different than your dad's.  He uses spells out of a book.  Mine are within me."

      "You'll heve to ignore me if I stare to long or ask to many questions.  I'm just trying to get a grip on this.  This is all so new to me."

     "I know it is.  Your mom and me were just hoping when you came along as Fairy that there wouldn't be any Dark Worlders out here trying to steal our happiness.  We sould have known that when we send one to Hell there is always another to take it's place.  I hear this one is going to take all of us and then some.  You will meet more and more creatures of our realm as you continue on your path.  We will all be there that is what we were created for.  Is not only our own protection, but the protection of the humans that don't even realize that we walk amoung them.  You may tell the others so that they know I'm working with them.  

     "Okay I will.  Thanks for not being upset with me for not finding you that first night."

     "I could never be upset with you."  She gave her a kiss on top of the head and a great big hug. 

     "Thanks for telling me."

     "I hope you know you can come and talk to me about anything and I'll be right here for you no matter what it is.  Don't forget that."

     " I won't."  She replied.
