Mireya's POV
Drake immediately stepped in front of me, his sword drawn from its sheath.
A low growl came from whatever had answered to Drake's question.
The sound of chains dragging on the floor echoing around us.
Judging from the vibration on the ground, it definitely wasn't human.
I drew my sword, stepping beside Drake. “What are you?” I asked, my voice loud in the silent space.
