Drake's POV
I walked slightly behind Alpha Mireya, my gaze pinned on her back.
Her courage throughout the journey was something I would never forget.
She stumbled slightly over a broken branch then, making me shoot forward to steady her on her feet.
“Thanks, Drake” she mumbled, as she kept on walking. Alec walked beside her, his elbow jabbing at her.
I gritted my teeth at that, the urge to shove him away from her strong.
I shook the thought away, they have been friends since birth. She would think I overreacting.
