After Ms. Walters had packed her belongings she insisted on giving her husband a proper burial before accompanying the soldiers to Fort Barton. Lieutenant Amy thought about refusing at first but eventually gave in to her entreaties. Assisted by Nathan and Margaret they buried the corpse of Ms. Walters’ husband in her backyard.
Lieutenant Amy contacted Private Yamato on the radio and asked him to start the engine. When Ms. Walters was ready to leave the 4 of them made their way to the Arch Knight tank which had been parked a few metres away from the old house. Margaret entered first followed by Nathan.
