Mother's Love
"Good day, Ma'am. Are you Lyliza Cuera?" asked by a middle aged man to a woman with a briefcase standing outside the airport. Based on the woman's clothing, it can be seen that she is not from this place. "Yes.I am." the woman replied weakly to the man while taking off her shades. The man smiled when he saw the young woman's face. "Hello, ija." said the man. "I'm Butler Jeson, I was ordered to pick you up, miss Ly." he added while bowing showing respect to the girl. The girl has been staring at the man for a long time and then she recognizes him. "Ahh-" the girl shouted happily when she recognized the man. "Uncle!" the girl jumped on the man when she met him, and hugged him tightly. "Hahaha. Goodness Ija, you're already this big. I can't carry you anymore." the man laughed as he hugged the girl back tightly. "Uncle! I miss you!" Lyliza replied while wiping away the small tears in her eyes. Lyliza cried for joy and before she broke away from the hug. "Haha, oh! You still haven't changed, you're still crying." laughed the man's response to the girl while helping to wipe the teary eyes of the girl. "Incapable!" Lyliza screamed at the same time as Butler Jason's hand was weakly hit. "Ah, not really. Hahahaha." Butler Jason said laughing. "Hahahaha." They laughed together. Butler Jason realized his intentions of coming here then said to Lyliza. "Come on. Your dad is waiting for you." "Okay!" Lyliza happily replied and gave the briefcase she was holding to Butler Jason's companions. The man immediately approached and gently accepted the briefcase from Lyliza. Another man opened a car door for Lyliza. At the same time as she entered the car, the driver also got in and spoke. "Here we go, Miss." and started the car. Lyliza sat properly in the back of the car. Silence enveloped the inside of the car, the girl was speechless because she was tired and just looked outside the car. This is where Lyliza Cuera was born and where she grew up, so it's no surprise that every building they passed was familiar to her. Carried away in silence and seeing familiars. Lyliza's thoughts could not be avoided. Memories long buried in oblivion come back to his mind like it was just yesterday. Things that were the reason why he moved from place to place and the past should be forgotten. Lyliza's heart beat faster when she saw the very familiar park where she often went when she was a child for one reason only. "I don't think this would work." a boy said to a girl who was staring dumbfounded at the boy, the boy turned away. Seeing that boy just act to leave, her hand moved spontaneously and intended to reach the boy..... "Ma'am.... Ma'am.... !" The driver said while gently waking up the sleeping girl. The male driver paused when he saw that there were tears in the eyes of his younglady. The male driver was about to continue waking up Lyliza, Butler Jason stopped him. So he left and let Butler Jason wake up Lyliza. Butler Jason softly approached the girl. "Ija." Butler Jason's voice was soft and gentle as he gently patted the girl's shoulder. On the other side. When Lyliza was about to reach the boy who was very familiar to her, he suddenly faded away until she saw nothing. She stared blankly and didn't know what to do, nothing came out of her mouth. "Ly." Lyliza turned to her left and right when she heard a familiar voice. She turned around to try to find where the voice came from when she saw a small light. Lyliza quickly approached it and reached for the light in her hands. Butler Jason breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Lyliza's eyes slowly open. "Uncle!?" Lyliza said in shock to butler Jason when she saw him in front of her. Lyliza quickly adjusted to her seat and looked around. That's when she realized that they had reached their destination at Cueza's mansion. Lyliza took a deep breath and gave a sign to butler Jason that she was ready to get out of the car. Butler Jason just smiled at her and helped her out of the car. 'I'll be fine.' Lyliza told her self before she got out of the car. Lyliza welcomed the familiar floor, environment, and lining the maid servant for coming back at home. "Welcome back, Younglady." respectful and sincerely she was greeted by her people. 'This is not like this.' Lyliza thought to realize that it changes. In the past, her people won't talk or greet her when she is coming home from playing outside. Seeing the difference between the past and present Lyliza unconsciously smiles at her people. "For the past years not being here, at least something changed. " she said to Butler Jason, and walked straight to the entrance of the house. Even the hallway that is quiet and gloomy, it's become busy and full of people chattering and laughing. "What happened here?" Lyliza couldn't stop asking her Butler Jason a question seeing a not familiar scenario. "This place is not bad. Right?" Butler Jason answered her. And laugh. Lyliza just dezincked. And ask him a different question. "Where's dad?" realizing that her dad didn't welcome her at the entrance. Butler Jason didn't answer her, instead he gave her a signal to just follow him. Lyliza shrugs and follows him quietly. The path they take. Lyliza knows where they're going, before retching in that place. Lyliza stopped walking. Butler Jason stopped too. Realizing that his Younglady didn't follow him anymore. The room there is her mother's room. Beginning in her life, she never felt the love and attention from her mother. It's not surprising that she doesn't feel like meeting her. "Are you still not ready to meet Madam Zha? Young lady?" seriously Butler Jason asks her, sadness is visible in his eyes. "I ask my dad, not her. " Lyliza answered him rudely and turned away. "Mr. Cruera was there. He knows that you're looking for him. He asked me to guide you at the Madam room. " Butler Jason told her just in case Lyliza changed her mind. "I don't care." instead of following him again, Lyliza continues to walk away and never looks back. Before fading at Butler Jason's sight, Lyliza stopped and said. "Tell Dad that I'm home. If ever he wants to meet me, tell him that I can meet him. Except that woman's room." Butler Jason doesn't have a choice but to accept the Younglady demand. "Home?" Butler Jason ask his self and sigh. "Atleast she called this house her home. Right Mr. Cueza?" Lorence Cueza came out of its hiding place and nooded. *The next morning *knock *knock *knock Lyliza woke up from a noise coming from her door's room. "Younglady, breakfast is ready." a gentle voice of a young woman follows. Lyliza didn't answer instead she got off her bed and went straight to the bathroom. "So tired." Lyliza said yawning. And face the mirror. She yawned again before washing his face, getting a toothbrush to brush. Then she took a towel from the cabinet and entered the shower. The water slowly flowed over her body, the coldness that came from the water immediately embraced her body. Lyliza closed her eyes as she felt the cold water flowing through her entire body. It seemed to awaken her sleeping spirit. "Younglady." Lyliza opened her eyes when she heard a voice. She quickly took a shower and came out of the CR while covering herself with a towel. When she came out, she immediately saw the ready taped clothes on the side of her bed. She approached it and got dressed to go downstairs to eat. "Good morning, Younglady." Greetings from her maids greeted her. Lyliza just looked at them and continued walking towards the kitchen. Butler Jason met her at the kitchen door. "Good morning to you, Ija." its voices are soft. "Good morning to you too, Uncle." she greeted him back as respect. "Your Dad is waiting for you." he said and helped her into the kitchen. As she entered she was greeted by a wide dining table and at the very end was his Father sitting there. When their eyes met, she was greeted and nodded to him so she went too. Butler Jason helps her sit in her chair. Only the sound of cutlery could be heard throughout the dining room. *Fake Cough Lyliza stopped when she heard this from her Father. "Sorry about yesterday." Her father apologized to her. Lyliza did not answer this and continued to eat again. "I know I'm wrong. Okay?" her Father repeated and dropped his cutlery with a sigh. "Hey." Lyliza said nothing when she realized that he was just staring at her. "Fine. I know." she added. Her Father smiled as she forgave him. "Why are you sending me to my Mother's room? You know I have no intention of going there." she said while continuing to eat. "I thought you'd be fine." Her Father answered. She stopped eating for a moment. And she shook his head and went back to eating. "Are you planning to stay here?" his Father asked her again. "Don't know." she just answered it sparingly. "Why? You're very late, Amarillo's family is not living in the neighborhood anymore. You didn't even say goodbye. You are close to his only son.. What's his name again?" Lyliza stopped eating as she heard him. "Owen's family doesn't live here anymore?" out of Lyliza's own questions. "Ahh Owen. They're not here anymore. I think it's been five years." her Father answered her. "It's been 5 years since I left, isn't it?" Lyliza asked her Father confused. It just nodded at her. Lyliza couldn't stop thinking about what she heard. 'He didn't say they were leaving. Is it just a coincidence? Or maybe he told me that because he was leaving...' "I think Owen was looking for you?" Lyliza was stopped by what she heard. "No way!?" Lyliza replied in disbelief to her Father. "Why? Owen is your best friend, isn't he?" her Father responded to her. Lyliza didn't answer it and just let it be what he thought of their relationship. Lyliza and Owen became lovers even at a young age, so called childhood sweethearts. Both of their families don't know anything, so it's not surprising that his Father only knows about their relationship as a friend. "I'm planning to stay." Lyliza said nothing to her Father. "Sure!" her Father happily accepted it and took the table napkin to wipe his mouth and hands. He just finished eating. Lyliza didn't eat again and wiped her mouth and hands with a table napkin. "By next week, I will enroll you in PUA. So that next month you can attend for the 2nd quarter." her Father's reminder Lyliza. She just looked at it and was dumbfounded. Lyliza has no reason not to stay in their city, because Owen and his family are no longer in the city. She doesn't want to remember the past that she has long forgotten. "Lyliza." Lyliza woke up from her deep thoughts. And turned to her Father. "I advised you to meet your Mom." her Father's voice was serious, it could not be seen that he was forcing her or begging her. Silence enveloped the entire dining room. No one spoke again. Since he was a child, Lyliza's mother did nothing but lock her in the house, not even for a moment when she needed to be exposed to the sun. She always visits only the library and her own room. Every time it's her birthday or there's an occasion, she can enter the dining room. 'I was 12 years old. The first time I stepped out at our house. Staying my whole 12 years inside the big house my life comes as boring and quiet. That year was the year I met him.. Cold and indifferent...' "I don't think I met a new fave today.." But releasing a warmth that I couldn't deny... "Are you alright?" What else is there but the harsh environment. Confusion and bitterness. Teasing and Embarrassment. "Weird! Whitelady!" "You better stay at your house forever.! " But... I'm lucky to have you who give me warmth and kindness. " Liza, don't be afraid. If you want to stay and play, then come back. " The sun that I never met closely in staying in that empty house. I feel warmth.' . . . . "I don't think it'll work." *Bang A loud noise enveloped the entire dining room as Lyliza hit the table hard as she remembered her past she could not accept. "Stop it!" Lyliza started crying because of the sadness and anger she felt. "Lyliza!" her Father also shouted at Lyliza. She quickly stood up and turned around to leave. Father was about to chase Lyliza when Butler Jason stopped him. "Leave the kid alone, Lorence." Lorence couldn't do anything else and sat back in his chair and bowed. "As long as Zha (Lyliza's mother's name) is alive, can't they come to an agreement?" Lorence has a hard time understanding the two. He can't take sides because he loves both of them. "I know Lyliza understood you, but she just couldn't accept it." Butler Jason comforts the sad Boss. On the other hand, Lyliza continued to run without a destination. She didn't realize that she ended up in the hallway of the house where her family generation photos were lined up and one of them was his mother's photo. Lyliza stopped when she felt tired, she wiped her tears before looking around to find out where she had been. But unexpectedly she stared at a photograph. A photo of a woman wearing a very shiny purple dress, her face smiling modestly and meekly. "Why?" Lyliza couldn't stop crying again, this photo was none other than her Mother. "Why can't you smile at me like that? Why can't I even feel Mother's love?" she said jealously to the photo and ran away again. "So unfair."
