"I'll be here to pick you both tomorrow."
"Pick us?" I asked in amazement.
I Stared at Mr. White like he has grown two heads and a one horn. Everything he was saying sounded unreasonable to me. I mean, why would he tell me to wait for him tomorrow. I tried to think of the reason why you would want to go with me to enroll my brother in school?
"Sir?" I raised my head.
"Good night Miss Hayes," He walked away without giving a response to my question.
I lost immediate control of my jaw and ot dropped as I watched Mr. white walk away from me.
