My eyes were fixed on my fingers as I fuddled with them.
I couldn't raise my head because I couldn't bring myself to look in his eyes. The expression on his face said quite a lot about how he must feel about my words.
"What did you say?" He asked again and I could tell that he wasn't pleased with my response.
"What did you say?" He reoeated, His husky voice sounded cold and distant.
His eyes held so much anger that I couldn't help but think he would harm me if I didn't step away from him.
