Chapter Nineteen: Unwanted Emotion
It was almost six now, and Eloise knew she had to quit her job in the bar. Just after a day of starting the job at that. She bit her lip because, even though she would be annoyed, she didn't want to just disappear out of nowhere when Leo gave her a chance.
She called his number and waited a few seconds before he answered. "Hello, Chica. Are you on your way now? The others might need an extra hand, so it would be nice if you were here in like, five minutes."
