Lucian POV
"Lucian. i know you want to wait to become Alpha until you find your mate. However, your mother and I have already extended our reign by three years. We are tired and we are ready to finally retire, so come the next full moon arrives I want you to go through with the Alpha ceremony and take over the pack for me." My father said right after pulling me into his office this morning. I knew i had put a lot more stress on my parents by asking them to stay in charge until i found my mate, but our pack was the largest and strongest in the world and i didn't know if i would be strong enough to lead them with out my mate. I should have found my mate on my eighteenth birthday but since I didn't it usually means that she will just show up when I need her the most. I had to trust that the moon goddess wouldn't put me in this position if it wasn't were i was meant to be. "Okay, father i will take over you as Alpha when the next full moon comes." I said looking up at him. He gave me a small smile before putting back on his Alpha face. "Now that that is out of the way I have one more matter I wish to speak to you about. I have received word that the Crescent pack has gotten it's hands on something very powerful, and Alpha Cole wishes to use it to take our pack out. I would like for you to gather your warriors and sneak in there and retrieve whatever this item is. I want you to bring it here so we can keep it from falling into the wrong hands again. understand?"
"Yes father ill go gather them now, you have any idea what it looks like?" He shook his head. "I have no idea what it is, so you'll be going in blind, but i have no doubt in your abilities, i know you guys can do it." I nodded my head at him and headed for the door. I started linking my future Beta Bryce the second I left the room telling him to gather everyone up and meet at Melany's house. When I was fifteen i came with an idea to have an elite group of warriors that specialized in stealth missions and getting information about possible threats to the pack. My dad wasn't to sure about it at first but after seeing how well we did he started coming to us for pretty everything. It helped that we are all best friends. My group consisted of my Beta Bryce, his mate Melany who is also a witch, my Gamma Tristan, and my lead pack Trainer Tina. Melany was one of my best friends and she came to us as a refugee when she was a kid, her family and her have been living on pack grounds. She helps the most with our undercover missions because she can glamour us to look like whoever we need to look like. The five us were at Melany's within ten minutes, "Okay everyone, we have got a new mission for you, it appears that the Crescent pack has gotten its hands on something powerful and want to use it to take us down. The Alpha wants us to head over there and find it and bring it here so it won't fall into the wrong hands. So lets make a plan shall we?" I said when I walked in. After a few hours of planning we had something pretty solid, we decided we would run out there and pick four wolves to grab and hold while we take their forms and search the pack land and find out what we can about this object they have. With the plan set we went outside and shifted into our wolves. Melany always rode on Bryce's back, once everything was set we took off run for the Crescent pack.

Selene POV
"Lexi you hungry?" I yell from the kitchen. I had been cleaning up a bit and making some popcorn. "Yes!" I heard her yell from her spot on the couch in the living room. I quickly laughed and then ran downstairs to the basement were I kept the supply of blood bags. Just as i was about to head back up to the living room to give Lexi her bag I heard a crash. I bolted upstairs to see a massive man holding onto Lexi and bunch of men circled around me, by the smell I could tell they were wolves. "You're not an easy vampire to find Selene" said a man walking in from outside. "I almost thought that everyone was right and you didn't exist. Thee original vampire, created over 5,000 years ago, the strongest vampire who also is a witch. Born before the creation of any other supernatural creature. I could hardly believe it when were able to track down your friend Lexi here. You should have told her to stay off her social media more." he said walking over to Lexi and running a knife across her cheek. I went to try and get her and he moved the knife to her throat. "Don't bother Selene, so long as you do everything I tell you to do Lexi here will be kept alive, but the second you disobey me she will pay the price, do you understand?" I looked over at Lexi. I could tell she was trying to tell me not do it but she was scared I could feel it. I looked back at the man and nodded, he then smiled at me and nodded at then men behind me. one of them came up behind me and hit me on the back of the head hard. My vision was covered in black dots and I knew I was going to pass out soon, I looked over to where Lexi was and saw them pulling her out by her hair. She was screaming for me but I couldn't respond, suddenly my feet gave out and all i saw was black.
