Chapter Two

Selene POV

I woke up laying on a comfortable bed. I felt large arms around my waist, and as soon as I started to stir they pulled me closer. I felt a shiver go down my spin when our bodies connected and everything started coming back to me. The capture and Lucian saving me and taking down the pack. I flipped around facing Lucian, he was already awake staring down at me smiling. "Good morning baby, how are you feeling?" he asked reaching up to stroke my hair. I smiled, "Much better, how long have I been out?" I asked throwing my arms around his neck. "Three days, we hooked you up to a blood bag for a couple of days and then we just let you rest, my dad gave me the time off to just lay here with you and let you get your strength back." 

"That was nice of him, but I would have healed you didn't have to take all this time away from the pack if they needed you."

"You needed me and we weren't in any danger, you come first, my dad was so surprised that I had only just met you and you already brought us so many new members he said I better stay with you and make sure you healed." 

"How is Alpha Cole? did you guys decide what you want to do with him?" 

"My father decided he would remain locked in our cell, he is too dangerous to let loose again. All of his pack has decided to join with ours as well, you have grown our numbers by 300 already." he smiled, "I am so proud of you, but I will admit having you be asleep regaining your strength for the last three days it scared me." he pulled me closer kissing the top of my head. "How is Lexi? Can I see her?" 

"She is doing great actually, when they went to rescue her Tristan found out that she is his mate. They have been spending a lot of time together since she came here. I am sure she'd be happy to see you though, so i can take you over there whenever you're ready. I had some clothes brought here for you and you can shower and then I can take you over there." I nodded and rolled out of bed, going to take a peek in the closet. There was a full length mirror in the closet and I was still wearing the clothes from the day of the capture, they were torn and covered in blood, my hair was a completely different color because of all the blood and dirt, I can't believe Lucian even found me attractive like this. I quickly grabbed a black pair of jeans and a black halter top with a pair of thigh high black heeled boots. I walked back out into the room staring at Lucian who was still in bed. "Lucian, why didn't you tell me how terrible I look?" i said scolding him. He sat up in bed checking me out. "What do you mean babe? I think you look incredible." 

"You're so lying right now." i said rolling my eyes and heading into the bathroom for a shower. The bathroom was huge, white marble counter tops with gorgeous black floor tiles. The shower had all black tiling and black hardware as well. I striped down and hopped in, the hot water felt amazing on my body. i started washing my hair and my body watching as the blood and dirt flowed off my body and down the drain. I finished up and got out of the shower and dried off. I quickly threw on the clothes and headed out into the room. "Woah, your hair...it's white, I didn't know it was white." he said looking over me wide eyed. i smiled and nodded. "You look like our moon goddess, did you know that?" he asked. "No I've never seen a picture of her, I have only ever heard of her." 

"Here come on I will take you to see Lexi then we can go down to the library and i can show you her. My dad was actually wanting to know a bit more about your background maybe we can find some information down there." i nodded and he took my hand and we headed down the hall. Lexi was laying down in bed talking with Tristan and they couldn't have looked cuter together. "Lexi! i yell running over to her and plopping on top of her and hugging her super tight. "How are you? Are you okay? Did Alpha Cole touch you because if he did I am going to kill him!" She started laughing. "Yes Selene I am fine thanks to Tristan and the pack, no Alpha Cole didn't hurt me, I have honestly never been so happy. Now i know there was a reason we met and that you were meant to change me." I smiled at her and nodded. "Who knew we would end up here huh?" i said laughing with her. We talked for a while catching up with each other and sharing old stories with the boys before we decided to head down to the library and leave them alone for a bit. 

"Here is a one of our more informational books on the moon goddess and we think her early life was like. It also has a pretty well detailed picture of her.....right here." he said handing me a book opened up to a picture of the moon goddess. When i looked at it i couldn't believe it, i had seen the moon goddess before, and i did look just like her. "Lucian, I have seen her before...The moon goddess is...my mother."
