14- What’s Up?

Chase’s POV
Oh s**t, he looks pissed.
“Chase, can you tell me what that was out there?”
“I would if I could, but I don’t even have a clue as to what just happened.
One minute I was fine training, the next minute I just felt this rage going through me when I noticed the dude I was training with stare at Cari like if he wanted f**k her.”
He looked at me confused, then asked: “Are the two of you together?”
“No, we only just met that day you saw us at the medical center. We haven’t had long conversations or hung out but my wolf has been acting weird since we officially met.”
He looked at me intrigued: “what do you deem weird?”
“Well when we first came across each other, it was when I had to go into her class to take a test and the teacher had me sit at one of the empty seats around her. When I got close to her I smelled her scent of vanilla mixed with chocolate and it smelled so good. Her scent called to me so I chose to sit right next to her. My wolf became complacent, I’ve never felt him so calm, it was as if her scent alone put him at peace. Today when Cari was stretching and that dude’s eyes were lingering on her body, my wolf went crazy, he was angered and got jealous.”
“That’s very curious,” he said.
“Unc, why would my wolf react that way, it’s not like if he claimed her as his mate. Hell, you and I both know I can’t have a mate because of what happened to me and Jason.”
My uncle gave me a knowing look: “I know, speaking of Jason, he has to show up soon to avoid any questions, everyone already knows about you two joining this pack.”
“This is all crazy, is there any way that we can set this s**t straight? This is all just too much, what are we going to do when it comes time to take over as Beta?”
He lets out a sigh: “Don't worry about it Chase, we’ll get through this, we’ll all be fine, and get the answers we need soon.”
“Did you tell Alpha about this already?”
He shakes his head: “He and I are the only ones who know, this is your secret to reveal to others if you choose to, but for now just try to keep cool and work out a schedule with Jason.”
“Okay unc, will do.”
He smiles: “We’ll talk again soon.”
With that, I walked out still feeling confused as ever, but it is what it is.
Hopefully, we can find answers and resolutions to all of this craziness that is my life. I’m just going to take things day by day, hopefully, I didn’t piss Cari off by knocking that douche to the ground. He must have sensed that my wolf took a liking to Cari or that I am the future Beta because he apologized after my reaction.
I need to get my ass cleaned up and go to bed. I need some rest.
