Ava Lane Azhar doesn’t remember her past. All she knows is that her life is a tangled mess of lies, betrayal, and a strange, mysterious mission she’s forgotten. Married to the cold, calculating billionaire Kian Azhar, Ava’s life seems to be on a loop—until one night, she wakes up with no recollection of their past, no understanding of why she’s caught in a web of corporate espionage and dangerous secrets. When a mysterious watch links her to a future version of herself, Ava learns the truth: she wasn’t just Kian’s wife. She was part of a covert project known as AURA, a program that could rewrite time itself. But Ava made a choice years ago to erase all memories of her mission, turning against Kian and the very future they once fought to protect. Now, with 29 days left to find answers and reset the timeline, Ava must navigate a world where nothing is what it seems. The more she uncovers, the deeper she falls into a rabbit hole of secrets, danger, and her own fractured past. But with Kian’s cold, calculating gaze following her every move, Ava has no choice but to play the role of the perfect wife… even if it means losing herself in the process.Caught between loyalty to a man she doesn’t trust, and the truth that could change the world forever, Ava must decide whether to save her own future—or let it burn to protect the ones she loves.

Forgotten
The blinding light above flickered as Ava slowly regained consciousness. A sharp pain pulsed through her head, leaving her disoriented. She blinked, trying to adjust her blurry vision, and took a deep breath, the air feeling foreign in her lungs. Something was wrong. Her surroundings felt unfamiliar—sterile, too clean, almost cold. She was lying in an unfamiliar room, on a sleek white bed that looked more like something from a futuristic hospital than a home. The walls were made of glass, overlooking an expansive cityscape, the skyline gleaming with neon lights. It looked like a city of the future, a future she couldn't quite remember. Ava sat up, her body trembling slightly. Her fingers brushed against her face, trying to ground herself, but nothing felt right. Who was she? Her mind was a jumbled mess of fragments—flashes of faces, conversations, and emotions—but nothing concrete. There was a name… Ava. Her name. But beyond that, there was nothing. No past. No memories. She swung her legs over the side of the bed, her feet hitting the cold floor. The room felt eerily empty, almost suffocating. A door on the far side of the room opened suddenly, and a man stepped inside. His presence was overwhelming—tall, impeccably dressed in a tailored suit, his dark hair perfectly styled, his gaze cold and calculating. He froze as soon as his eyes met hers, a flash of recognition flickering in his eyes before his face smoothed into an expression of impassive professionalism. “Ava,” he said, his voice deep and smooth, like he had said her name a thousand times before. “How are you feeling?” Ava stared at him, confusion written across her face. His face, too, seemed vaguely familiar, though she couldn’t place why. Something stirred deep inside her, a flicker of recognition, but it was gone as quickly as it came. “I... I don’t know you,” she replied, her voice soft, almost a whisper. The man’s jaw tightened for a brief moment before he recovered, stepping toward her. His presence seemed to fill the room, imposing yet strangely magnetic. “You don’t remember me?” His expression softened just a fraction, though there was something in his eyes—a storm of emotions he wasn’t letting show. “It’s me, Kian. Your… husband.” Her breath caught in her throat. Husband? The word felt wrong in her mouth. A marriage. A relationship. There was a hole in her memory where those experiences should have been, and yet, the name Kian felt like it should mean something. “Husband?” she repeated, her mind racing. She tried to search for something—anything—but came up empty. “I... don’t remember.” Kian’s expression darkened, though his voice remained calm. “It’s okay. You’ve been through a lot. It’s normal to feel this way.” “Through a lot?” Ava repeated, her gaze narrowing. There was something in his tone, something that didn’t quite match the softness of his words. She could feel it—the weight of a thousand unspoken truths between them. “What happened to me?” Kian hesitated. For a moment, he didn’t speak, his eyes searching hers as if looking for something in her face—something he hadn’t found yet. His lips parted, then closed again, before he finally spoke. “You’ve been part of something… something bigger than us. A project, Ava. A project we both worked on.” He took a step closer, and Ava instinctively pulled back, her heart pounding. “I erased your memories to protect you. You weren’t supposed to remember any of it.” Ava’s breath caught in her throat, her head spinning. Memories erased? She tried to piece together the fragments of her thoughts, but they slipped through her fingers like sand. What was he talking about? What project? What had happened? “What do you mean? Erased my memories?” she asked, her voice trembling. “Why? And why don’t I remember anything about you? About us?” Kian’s eyes darkened, and his jaw clenched as if he were struggling with something deep inside. “I made a mistake,” he said softly. “I thought it was the only way. But now, I need you to remember. You’re the key to fixing everything.” Ava stood up suddenly, her knees weak beneath her, but she steadied herself against the bed. “Fix what? What’s going on? I don’t understand.” She shook her head, the disorientation intensifying. “None of this makes sense. None of you do.” Kian took a deep breath, his voice lowering. “I know this is overwhelming, but Ava… I need you to trust me. I’m not going to let anything happen to you. I promise.” She looked at him, feeling the weight of his words pressing down on her, but something about the way he said it made her uneasy. Trust him? She didn’t even remember him. How could she trust someone she didn’t even know? But Kian was looking at her, the intensity in his gaze unmistakable. He was hiding something, she could feel it. And somehow, in the chaos of her confused thoughts, something told her that he had answers she desperately needed. Ava swallowed hard. “What happened to me?” she repeated. “What is this project you’re talking about? Why am I here?” Kian stepped back, his eyes momentarily flicking to the side, as though debating whether to say more. “You were part of a mission, Ava. The AURA project. It’s… it’s complicated. We tried to change the future. But things went wrong. And now, we need to fix it. Together.” Ava felt a chill run down her spine. The future? What was he talking about? She wasn’t ready for any of this. “I don’t know if I can,” she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. “I don’t even know who I am anymore.” Kian’s gaze softened slightly, and for the first time since he’d walked into the room, there was a flicker of something—guilt, maybe—beneath his cool exterior. “We’ll fix this, Ava. I’ll help you remember. I promise.” Ava looked at him, her mind racing with questions, none of which she had answers to. She was standing at the edge of something she didn’t understand, with a man who claimed to be her husband, a project she had no memory of, and a future that was slipping further and further out of her reach. What had she forgotten? And more importantly, what had Kian done to her?
