After our adventures last night, Luke ran us a bath with bubbles and soothing oils. He insisted on bathing me, just like Kyle did. I’d ended up cuddling to Kyle’s chest with Luke conformed to my back. Their body heat a warm blanket surrounding me. I’d fallen asleep right after Kyle pressed me against his chest. I felt Luke’s body heat at my back, and I was out like a light.
I didn’t toss and turn, just rested peaceful. My body to tired to move. Between the physical exhaustion and the emotional toll the day took on me, I’m not surprised.
