Turock was taking his time at the hospital, but it gave me a chance to think a few things over. Mostly I thought of Rennie and how irritated she’d been that I was going to send her to our house to unpack. I thought after riding in the stupid van all day, she’d want to relax. I’d been wrong.
“Sent files to your office laptop. Still at hospital. Be there soon.” Turock murmured through my mind. “Quick find: Mate. You’ll have to download it. A lot of information.”
Acknowledging him, booting up my laptop. “Take your time old friend, I know how it feels to leave your mate.”
“I’ll just be a few minutes, Alpha.” Turock stated firmly. I knew it would be at least an hour, between him wanting a few minutes and the doctors.
