The Dome

Kylie leaned forward burying her face into his chest, her eyes closed tightly. She kept breathing his scent in deeply, trying to calm herself.
"What is she hiding?" Brandon asked.
"It's not for me to tell you. She has a right to her privacy." Kylie said, not opening her eyes. She felt him tense and she held him tighter.
Jason, Sven, and Griffin suddenly flashed into the dome next to them.
"Where is she?" Jason asked going towards Kylie.
"She's asleep in the guest room at the end of the hall," Brandon answered.
"I will need you to stay with her, make sure that she is ok. Mind link with me if you sense any serious discomfort." Kylie instructed Brandon.
"Why do you act like you are leaving?" Brandon asked worriedly.
Jason and Griffin were at their side, Sven stayed back watching them.
"I will need to leave to do this," Kylie said taking both of his hands in hers and looking deep into his eyes. "I'm sorry to leave you tonight, but I need to do this."
"Thank you for helping her," Brandon said kissing her forehead. "I love you."
"I love you more," Kylie said with a smile, "Go." she said nodding towards the door, "We will be gone for a little while, Thor and his mate are here to help you. If you need anything, tell him."
"Please be careful." he said looking at her and then to Jason, "You are going with her?"
"Of course," he said placing his arms around her waist from behind and pulling her back to his chest. "We always will," he said motioning to Sven and Griffin as well. "Watch your mother close."
With that Brandon nodded and left the room headed to his mother.
Thor ran into him as he reached the room, "Someone's here, she's out, is she ok?"
"Yeah, it's my mother. Kylie put her to sleep for a while." Brandon said opening the door. They walked inside.
"You need anything man?" Thor asked.
"No, I am going to stay with her," he said, Thor nodded, I will check in but just yell if you need me.
"Thanks, I appreciate it."
Thor nodded and went back down the hall.
Brandon sat in the chair next to the bed and held his mother's hand, he watched her as she slept.
Back in the dome, Jason looked at Kylie, "Are you ready for this?" he asked her concern on his face.
"Why do you look so worried?" Kylie asked with a small smile to him.
"Griffin told us," he said looking into her eyes.
"Well, he shouldn't have," she said giving him a dirty look.
"We don't keep secrets," Griffin said, hurt by the look. "Your rules remember?"
Sven came over to her side, "Kylie, can you do this without having to see him?"
"No, this isn't a normal thing, it's very unusual," she said as she caressed his face lovingly with her hand.
"So he could hurt you," Sven said looking worried.
"Have more faith in me, in you, and in them," she said with a smile on her face. "I need to do this."
"They are waiting for us, we can go whenever you are ready," Griffin said from behind them.
"We will be there for a while, are you all ready?" Kylie asked looking at her mates, they could sense the sadness radiating off of her.
"We're ready when you are," Sven answered without any hesitation.
Kylie took his hand, then Jason's. Griffin held her hips from behind and they flashed out in a brilliant light.
