"What do you mean?" Katie asked staring at Chance.
"Katie it was Harry that took Anna," he said staring back at her.
"You mean someone else named Harry, right?" Katie asked still not understanding.
Chance walked closer to her and pulled her into his embrace. "It was Harry, the Harry you went to school with,"
"He, he listened, he left that day," she said thinking back.
"You told him to leave?" Chase asked surprised by her words.
"I-I couldn't watch Olivia and Oliver's father die," she said, her mind blocking everything else out.
"Katie, he really hurt Anna. Vincent Victor, and Rosie, well, they all felt it. He tortured her for weeks. He was waiting for you to come." Chase told her.
"For me to come?" Katie asked surprised and confused.
"Kylie thinks he had something to do with your mother's murder. He believed you would be the next Moon Goddess and would come to rescue Anna. They were in the Outside Realm." Chance held Katie as she started to shake.
"So by trying to help him, I am the reason my mother died?" she remained quiet for a long time. Then, "Will he come for me again?" she finally asked.
"Kylie is worried, One of us will stay with you, Ok?" Chase added. "We will keep you safe."
"How did he get to The Outside Realm?" she finally asked.
"Katie, remember he came from a very powerful family. He may have uncovered his powers. Someone must have helped him develop them. He was brought into our pack to give him the opportunity to embrace his wolf side. It looks like he has developed his dark side." Chance tried to explain to her.
"So what do we do now?" Katie asked looking at Chance and then Chase.
"We live our lives, watch out for any signs, and you will always be with one of us." Chance said smiling.
"Preferably naked," Chase added with a grin.
"Perv," she said slapping him.
"You don't seem to mind," he said grinning at her, pulling her in for a kiss.
"We need to go check on Anna, I need to talk to her," Katie said looking at them.
"Ok, but not today. Let's give the kids a chance to spend the day together.
Katie nodded, "I should give them a chance to heal."
Anna and Victor were inside the kitchen cooking dinner when Vincent and Rosie arrived.
"Hey, let me help," Vincent said smiling and cutting up vegetables for a salad.
Anna stared at the knife and started to back up, Victor looked over and saw her shaking. He followed her eyes to the knife.
"s**t," he said turning her away. "Just Breathe," he whispered next to her ear.
Vincent looked up, he looked back at the knife in his hands, and froze. "s**t" he mumbled and locked eyes with Victor.
Victor motioned him to get rid of the knife and he quickly placed it in the sink and covered it with the dishcloth. He went back to the salad and finished making it with his hands.
Anna leaned against Victor, "I'm sorry." she mumbled.
"Honey, we understand," Victor told her.
"I didn't think" Vincent said.
Rosie watched them. "Here," she said handing her a glass of water.
Anna looked at her,
"Take this," she said handing her some pills.
"No.," she said, she didn't touch the pills in her sister's hand. "I don't want them."
As they sat down to eat, Anna smiled at Vincent. "You don't have to do that."
"It's nothing," he said with an attempt at a smile.
Rosie was confused, everyone's food was already cut and only forks were on the table. As she went to ask about it, Vincent shook his head at her and sat down.
They all ate, talking about the house, and the lake.
Victor looked at her, "You want to go swimming again?" he asked grinning at her.
"Again?" Rosie asked.
"We went swimming when we got back," Anna said smiling. "Yes," she said turning to Victor.
"Let's go," Vincent said getting up.
"I can't go as I did before," Anna said looking at Victor.
"I have something, come on," he said taking her hand.
Rosie watched them go to the bedroom. She looked at Vincent.
"How do you feel?" she asked him.
"Rosie, tell me what happened. How did we end up mating without them?"
"It's my fault ok" she mumbled out.
"What is?" Vincent asked confused.
"I tried to strengthen our bond but it didn't work."
He looked at her confused as the other two returned.
Anna was wearing a suit with Victor's shirt over her.
Vincent stared at her for a minute even more confused.
"Come on," Victor said heading out the back door. The other two also followed.
