Chapter 20

Dalaney’s POV

I  was happy that Xiana come with me and let her enter my life freely as she know who am I, not just the friend she met in the rooftop and the person loving her even though she’ll not pick me over Vince. And I was happy when we she promised never run away from me.

Kakatapos lang naming kumain and may inayos lang ako sa kusina nang makarinig ako ng tunog ng piano, is that kiss the rain? Who’s playing the piano? It can’t be Dlaire, she didn’t know how to play piano; only violin and ukulele. I walk towards the living room and I saw Xiana sitting in the piano while randomly playing the kiss the rain, hitting the wrong keys for it. I smile and walk towards her and I play along with her and cleaning her notes off, I notice she stops on playing the piano so I grab her hand and place on the keys.

“Don’t stop, just press this key with the whole note count.” I said to her as I guide her hand on hitting the note and I let go of her hand while she was hitting the notes and she got it perfectly.

“That’s right, follow my lead ok.” I said to her and I start hitting my note.

Nakakagaan sa pakiramdam na I’m playing piano again for the long time, I didn’t know what’s on Xiana that pulls me in to play the piano even if I said to myself I will never touch any single key on it but this day Xiana gave me a reason to play with her.

After she stay in our house and getting along with Dlaire; in the short of time they were friends now what a spectacular event, Dlaire hates visitors but its different way around. I held Xiana back to their home, while the car is driving back to the house I was thinking of the moment I spend with her today. She brings back my abandoned hobby, I let her know who am I but not really all and Dlaire has a new friend. When I got home I saw Dlaire sitting on the couch having a big smile on her face, I dive in her and tickles her.

“Ate stop, stop please.” Pagmamakaawa nya habang kinikili ko siya.

“Ikaw ha naging close na kayo agad ni Xiana.” Saad ko sa kanya and continue tickles her while she was laughing.

Dlaire knew about Xiana and she was happy finding out about her, it was since back then she knew my feelings for Xiana and a while ago I can see she was shocked when I brought Xiana in the house and I can also see how happy of hers finally meeting Xiana.

“At least she gave you reason again on playing the piano.” She said while laughing, napatigil ako sa pagtawa sa kanya at umupo sa gilid nya habang siya ay hinahabol pa rin ang hininga nya.

“Just don’t tell mom.” I sadly said to her, if mom will find out I play piano again she’ll definitely said that I should go back on my old life that I don’t wanted to.

“Why, mom will be going to be happy when she finds out.” Hinihingal na saad nya sa akin at napailing lang ako sa kanya.

“Hey, what do you think of her?” tanong ko sa kanya para maiba ang usapan namin dalawa and she gave me a big thumbs up and a big smile.

“Alam mo ate, ate Xiana was so kind and real and she treat me as her younger sister just like what you were doing to me.” Saad nya sa akin and I tap her head and smile.

“I’m happy to hear that.” I said to her.

Iniwan ko siya sa sala at umakyat ako sa kwarto ko, nang maopen ko ang kwarto ko ay bumungad sa akin ang artificial celestial I made on my room brighting up, I on the lights in my room and turn off the flash light, I grab the mirror and return it to my window, and I remove all things I block to the passage way of light in my room and open my window and a fresh air came in to my room, it is a strong wind for the reason to fall some of my books on the shelves. I picked the books and when I pick the last book suddenly a piece of paper fell on it, I pick it and I saw an old picture of me playing piano together with him.

“Tsk, what an misfortune.” I said and I return the picture inside the book and return it to the bookshelves.

Pagkakinagabihan ay umuwi na rin si mommy, we were having a dinner when suddenly Dlaire spoke up.

“Mommy did you know ate played piano a while ago.” Dlaire said kaya napatingin ako sa kanya, really? Oh crap.

“Totoo bay un Dalaney? What came on you for playing once again?” mommy ask me but I put my head down, seriously Dlaire said it?

“Mommy may bisita po kasi si ate kanina si ate Xiana then ate Xiana ask me if she could play with the piano and I let her then later on while ate Xiana is playing ate join her to play with her.” Dlaire said, now I’m totally doomed with this child, seriously Dlaire?

“That’s good to hear, seems like Xiana really is a special person isn’t she Dalaney?” mommy ask kaya napatingin ako sa kanya at nakita ko siyang nakangiti sa akin, I don’t know if she’s happy or she’s threatening me, I just smile awkwardly with her.

“I will take it as a yes, I want to meet this Xiana of yours.” Saad ni mommy sa akin kasabay ang pagkindat sa akin and I just look at her then look at Dlaire deadly and she gave me a peace sign , I just rolled my eyes on her.

“Invite her on my birthday; it would be lovely to meet her.”

Now what Dalaney, your mom wants to meet Xiana and crap it is only days to go now. Oh yeah I will invite my friends as well despite they were really invited as usual every occasions here in that way she won’t suspect anything.

Pagkakinabukasan ay pumunta ako ng café kung saan naglalaro sila Xiana and when I got there I saw her playing, I grab my camera and took some photos of her. While watching some events some guys approach me.

“Hi miss are you alone?” The guy with a jersey approaches me and I just rolled my eyes on him, I smile at him as I look to him.

“Ahm yeah why care to treat me?” I ask him and the guys with him cheer for him.

“Hi miss I’m Alec and you are?” he ask as he held his hand, I look at it. Even I disgust this situation I need to go along with it, yeah I may be a lesbian but lesbian has different strands and I am a femme lesbian who acts like a girl, wear like a girl.

“I’m Dalaney, nice meeting you Alec; which district are you?” I said to him but I didn’t accept his hand.

I look at him and I see how professional and confident he is in meeting girls, I do wonder how many girlfriends he has because of the way he acts and the way he talks he really is a guy who dated lots of girls and play with his hands.

“Ahm district 10.” He said confidently.

“Ohh I see were you the district who didn’t won any matches?” I said at nagulat naman siya sa sinabi ko, tumawa naman siya na tila naiilang sa sinabi ko pero nagulat ako nang higitin nya ako sa bewang kaya tiningnan ko lang siya ng seryoso sa mata

“Hindi nga kami nanalo pero surely I can win you my dear.” Saad nya sa akin kaya napairap na lang ako, boys always be boy bringing their flowering words to court a lady.

Hinawakan ko ang kanyang kamay para alisin pero mas lalo nya lang akong inilapit sa kanya, ok this really pissed me of. Sorry but he gave me no reason to do this.

“Could you please let go of me?” I ask him pero inilapit nya lang ang kanyang mukha sa tenga ko.

“Bakit ayaw mo ba ng ganito? Pero sorry you are m—“ saad nya pero agad kong sinipa ang gitna nya kaya agad nya akong binitawan at napahawak siya sa kanyang bayag, I look at him funny.

“Oh sorry napalakas ba? Sorry I belong with someone na kasi sorry.” I said to him while he was looking at me, lalapitan na sana ako ng mga kasama nya nang sumigaw ako, fudge I hate shouting but everyone know that I am a girl so I should act on it kahit kaya ko silang bugbogin at ipagtangol ang sarili ko.

“Mr. umpire yohoo, are this guys still have any game this day? Should be the players have right conduct and manners but this guys were trying to disrespect me.” Saad ko kaya naman napatingin ang halos lahat nang naglalaro at lumapit sa amin ang umpire pati na rin ang ibang players.

“What is going on here?” he ask as he enter our area, napatingin siya doon sa Alec na yun na hawak hawak pa rin ang bayag nya.

“Sir sinipa nya po ako sa bayag ko.” Saad nung Alec na yun kaya napaigting ang leeg ko, playing innocent.

“Ahm Mr. umpire, pinagtangol ko lang po ang sarili ko kaya sinipa ko po siya, binabastos nya po ako and nung sinipa ko siya ay tila bubugbbugin po sana ako nitong mga kasama nya eh kaya po sumigaw ako, diba po ang player ay may respeto po pero this men don’t have any respect. I want justice Mr. umpire, paano kung hindi ko po pinagtangol ang sarili ko edi nabastos po ako.” Saad ko sa kanya habang iniiba ang tono ko na para magmukhang nakakaawa ako, napatango naman yung umpire sa akin at nakita kong galit nag alit yung Alec na iyon sa akin, sorry sir mali ang nadagit mong babae.

“I understand miss, Mr. Yap and Mr. San Juan disqualified kayo para sa championship game ngayon.”saad ng umpire sa kanila kasabay ang pag alis para bumalik doon sa table nila.

Tiningnan ako ng masama nung mga lalaki lalong lalo na si Alec, tinaasan ko lang siya ng kila habang naglalakad siya papaalis. Narinig ko naman g nagalit yung si Yap and San Juan na yun dahil sa ginawa ko. Mga lalaki nga naman, pagkatapos nung eksenang iyon ay nakita kong tumakbo si Xiana papalapit sa akin na halatang nagaalala sa akin.

“Ayos ka lang ba? Anong ginawa sa iyo ni--.” Nagaalalang tanong nya sa akin pero I just tap her head.

“Wag kang magalala kaya kong ipagtangol ang sarili ko, kaya walang may nangyari sa akin; nagaral kaya ako nung maliit ako ng martial arts kaya wag kang magaalala sa akin.” Saad ko sa kanya and I smile to her.

After how many hours ay inanunsyo na ang mga nanalo and Xiana won gold medal for both singles and doubles. I took picture of her receiving her awards, she’s wearing a big smile on her lips, as well as mine seeing her that she was happy. After ng awarding ay lumapit siya sa akin at hinila nya ako para ipakilala sa kanyang mga kaibigan, we took pictures together as well as her friend. Nagpapicture rin kaming dalawa and I was happy because this is our first ever picture together.
