I waited a while for Kalain to say something but he didn't,he just stared blankly at the wine in the goblet he held,the hurt evidently lingering in his eyes,I reached out and held his hand,giving it a gentle squeeze I said
"You alright?".
I knew it was a stupid question to ask but what else could I say?
He nodded and said "yeah,I'm good".
I could tell he wasn't.
"Kalain you can talk to me,its okay to express your pain,its not weakness". I said.
