An odd smell lingered around the house,it was offensive in all ways possible, I walked down the stairs slowly as I tried to find my parents.
"Mum? dad?". I called out .
"Ruby? Kiitty where are you?".
Still nothing.
I opened the back door and walked out to the garden,the smell intensified as I got closer,I clamped my hand over my nose,every step I took made my heart beat faster,the source of the smell soon became known to me,my body froze as I stared at the splattered blood around,my gaze fell upon three mangled bodies,I was totally frozen now,I couldn't tear my eyes from the bodies of my parents and my cat,I tried to move or do something but I couldn't,rather everything blacked out.
I opened my eyes and jerked up quickly, hands on my shoulders stopped me from darting out of the bed.
