Skittles: The life of a Shih tzu

"Hi! My nickname's Gigi and I'm about to tell you my dog Skittles favorite things!!" Skittles love to play but that sometimes leads to biting. She's an amazing dog though! She isn't able to do a lot of tricks like the other dogs, but she's still my favorite! She loves to go to places such as Ross and Las Vegas. She loves her family more than anything else in the world!! She gets tired after playing. She loves parties but dislikes other dogs. She loves to walk with her family. She does zoomies, which is a thing that dogs do. It's when they get super excited that they start running a lot and she's always excited. She's sometimes allowed to go upstairs, which is pretty special because other dogs aren't allowed to. Skittles loves to eat a lot! She doesn't normally eat her own food. She eats chicken and she's always wanting more food. She loves her toys so much! Her human sister aka me loves her so much! I love playing with Skittles just as much as she loves playing with me! I'm a teenager, so I'm normally on my phone, at school or at Taekwondo, but I still find time to play with her! I love telling people about her. She's always wanting to eat or play, but I don't mind as long as she doesn't eat my homework. Just kidding, of course she will! Haha, now back to talking about her life. Well, she probably doesn't remember much about her family, but neither do I. My mom doesn't really like animals, so she doesn't normally touch Skittles. It's pretty rare for her to touch any animals. My dad loves Skittles so much! He and my mom have work so I stay at my friend's house, which means I have to leave Skittles home alone. I know you're probably wondering why I named her after a candy. Well, I thought I would love to name my dog after my favorite candy. It's pretty cool honestly! We're almost done learning about my puppy's awesome life! She gets mad sometimes, then starts barking or growling, but not always. Her favorite toy would probably be a dachshund toy that me and my parents got for her. She loves opening bark boxes from us. The one she opened a while ago was awesome. She got toys, treats, food and more awesome essentials! Skittles sometimes starts l*****g or scratching her fur and we never understand why. Oh right, she was taken in by a family that only had one daughter because she loves animals and hopes to be a veterinarian when she's older. The family Skittles lives with used to live in the Philippines but then they went to America! She loves them and her friends. Skittles can sometimes be naughty, but she's still a puppy, so we understand. It's kind of like having a little sister minus the human part. She's my hmm.. My dog sister! She's always by my side whenever I'm sick. She's always waiting for me when I get home from school, at my friend's house or Taekwondo. I hope to have her for a long time because we have an amazing bond that no one can break. The strongest bond in the world.. A dog and her owner. She has a very big cage that she can play in, unlike other dogs. She's super sweet to humans but not to other dogs and we absolutely hate it when we have to leave her alone. She bites and eats a lot of things she's not supposed to, such as her pee pad. She used to bite her pee pad, so we put on a protector so she isn't able to bite it. Sometimes we get mad at her because she does bad things such as doing the potty on the floor, carpet or almost eating chocolate. I've learned a lot from books, so it helps me with Skittles. I learned what she's not allowed to eat. She's not allowed to eat things such as Xylitol, chocolate, grapes, raisins, onion, garlic, and more! She is allowed to eat strawberries, bananas, a drink from the Philippines called Yakult, fish, and some types of meat. I haven't had many pets because my mom doesn't like fur. So, my pets have mostly been fish. We've had dogs in the Philippines but they can't be touched because they are very aggressive. Skittles snores in her sleep. She loves going to the backyard even though we don't have much grass and she always plays with our basketball. When we were away in London and Paris she was taken care of by a very nice lady who gave her a toy pig that she loves. She's always ready to play no matter what. She's the only dog I've ever had and that's why she'll always remain my favorite, no matter how many pets I have. She really loves cuddling with me and my dad. We find it funny when I carry her and she plays dead. I love to hang out with her a lot. I wanted to make this story to tell others what I love about her! This story is to show my amazing bond with her! She's the sweetest dog I've ever seen! That's why I love her. Always and forever.
