When I saw the commotion, I thought I was late until I saw her in flames. I rushed towards her but noticed a wolf with a horn lunging at her. I quickly acted as I ran with every strength I could gather. I grabbed a sword from one of the guards closest to me and slashed the wolf in the back. It fell to the ground, and I rushed towards Ruby.
"Take this," Mason muttered as he stood behind me, holding a blanket. "I found it in your car," he said.
