Monica's Pov.
If you don't know Me I'm Monica. I have 3 beautiful children. Morris Megan and Moriah. I love my kids with all my heart. Most of you may think I'm lying but I do love my kids.
I know I'm hard on Megan and Moriah. I blame there father for their sexuality when really it's my fault.
When I dated Melinda I always took Megan around he and we would look like a big happy family. I showed Megan it was okay to date girls. I never expected her to actually date a girl.
When me and Melinda broke up I made myself hate people that dated the same gender. I am a hypocrite.
Also I have been lying to Moriah about who she really is.
Moriah is really Melinda and I's daughter.
I just couldn't bring myself to tell Moriah that.
So I kept it from her.
I was sitting on the couch thinking when my phone rung.
"Hello"
"Hi is this Ms. Monica"
"Yes this is she."
"I'm calling you regarding your daughter Moriah. A woman brought her to the hospital an hour ago saying she passed out. We need you to come up here right away."
I hung up the phone and quickly made my way to the hospital.
When I arrived at the hospital I spotted Samantha.
She was holding a cute little girl that was playing with a doll.
"Samantha."
"Ms. Monica"
"What happened."
"She went into shock and fainted."
"What shocked her."
"Nice to see you again Monica."
I turned around to come face to face with Melinda.
"Melinda."
"Long time no see how you been."
"Good and you."
"I've been good."
"Mommy." The little girl said.
"Yes sweetie" Melinda said walking up to the little girl.
She had a daughter.
She. Had. A. Daughter.
"Can I go see Riah now."
"In a minute honey." Melinda replied
"BUT I WANNA GO NOW!" The little girl yelled.
"Hey Chastity stop it I said we will go in a minute." Melinda said.
"Okay." Chastity pouted "can I go back to Sammy now."
She gave Samantha back the little girl.
"What are you doing here and what happened to Moriah."
Before she could respond the doctor came.
"Well she has woken up. She fainted from shock. Whatever it was that put her in a state of shock must have been pretty bad. She was out for a good 3 hours. But thank god she's fine. You all may go see her now."
We all got up and walked to her room.
When we walked in she was looking at tv.
"Riah." Chastity yelled jumping out of Samantha arms.
"Hey squirt I missed you."
"Doctor say you passed out cause of shock was it because I took your girlfriend."
Riah started laughing, "no squirt it wasn't and you couldn't take my girl if you tried."
"Want to Bet." Chastity said making everybody laugh.
"Hi baby how you feeling." Samantha said walking up to her.
"Fine now but I'll feel even better when you kiss me." Riah said smiling.
Samantha bent down to kiss Riah.
I stared in envy because of the relationship they had.
"I love you and I'm glad your okay."
"Love you to Sammy."
"Hey who loves me." Chastity asked.
"We love you to chastity." Samantha said.
"Me love me to. I mean I love you too." Chastity said giggling.
"Okay enough. How you feeling Moriah."
"I'm fine Ms. Melinda thanks for saving me."
"Well I honestly had to call Samantha down when you passed out I didn't know what to do." Melinda laughed
"Thanks anyway."
"Your mom's here."
I looked up to see Riah looking at me with angry eyes.
"How you feeling Riah."
"Why did you lie to me."
"Riah I..."
"No Stop With The Excuses. Tell Me The Truth All Of It Now."
"Okay honey your father isn't your father. Melinda is your father or mother whatever you want to call her. I thought If I brought you up in a home were a man and woman loved each other you wouldn't turn out like me."
"But dad didn't love you he loved getting d*cked in the a** more right. 16 years for 16 years you have lied to me. And then when I tell you I'm dating a girl you disown me as if you didn't use to be in love with one. I had to go through all of this to finally get the truth. You did all of this because you hated yourself for letting Melinda go. But that was no one's fault but yours. You have no one to blame but yourself."
"Riah I know you're made but she is your mother show her some respect." Melinda said
"I will respect my mother when she acts like a mother. What mother lies to their child about who they are."
"I'm sorry Riah. I was only doing what was best for you."
"No you were doing what was best for you. Non of this was for me."
"Look Riah I'm sorry okay. I never meant to hurt you in any kind of way."
"But you did. A mother's love is suppose to be unconditional something no one can take away or replace."
"I do love you Moriah. I never stopped. I'm your mother baby. All I'm asking for is another chance."
She looked at me and all I saw was hurt.
I hurt my daughter to the core.
I never meant to hurt her like this.
"I forgive you mom."
I smiled and walked up to her whipping her tears and hugging her.
"I love you Riah."
"I love you too mom."
