Chapter 3 Caylee's pov

Novah Jean appeared at the top of the staircase, she looked utterly bewitching, completely jaw dropping. I had seen her everyday for the past 8 years, every single day she looked absolutely amazing, but today all dressed up, in that beautiful green and gold dress, I couldn't take my eyes off her. She self-consciously but gracefully walked down the steps, one at a time. It felt as if she was walking in slow motion, with everyone's eyes on her I couldn't hide the jealousy and desire in my eyes. It was her eighteenth birthday, the day she merge's with her wolf, and if the mother Goddess wants so, the day she meets her mate. I am 20 years old, still haven't found my mate but I still have hope. I've only been around the Selenite Sanctum clan for the last 8 years. My wolf Gena hounds me, telling me to ruin her day, ruin her life, for this hatred goes deeper than me. I clench my jaw and hold back the urges to rip that fine fabric off her torso. After what feels like a lifetime she reaches the bottom step.

"WOW.. goodness goddess, you look absolutely amazing girl!" I shout. She looks at me with her warm innocent smile. The rest of the clans clamour the same complements, many haven't seen her since she was a pup. There was many Luna's standing in the front of the crowd to greet her first, a Luna always needs a good Ally and none better than the Selenite Sanctum's soon to be Luna. Almost always the women would join her mate at his childhood home, but with Selenite Sanctum being the strongest packs, and the fact Novah was an only child, any Alpha was happy to call this place home. The test he put them through was ruthless. In most cases would be a disgrace, it was actually an honor taking the Selenite Sanctum's name as an alpha male. I hated her and how they bent the the rules for her, for that clan. I absolutely despise everything about her and her family, but here I am a mere Omega, obeying their every word, here, a little mouse amongst wolves, plotting to be something better than I am. Wishing and dreaming to destroy the whole clan and become the name and legacy of the Omega who tore down the Selenite Sanctum Clan.
