As Tamsin heard Lysa’s words, she froze.
She asked if Lysa was certain or if she was speaking under the influence of alcohol, because if it turned out to be a rumor, she basically just signed her own death sentence.
Lysa insisted she was sober and scared. She told Tamsin that she doesn’t intend on dying anytime soon because she hasn’t lived life to the fullest yet, so she wouldn’t intentionally want to get herself killed. Tamsin urged her to leave the club immediately, without raising suspicious.
Lysa stepped out, pretending to have thrown up. Getting back in, the atmosphere was already back to the party vibes and the girl’s body had been moved to a corner of the room.
She started thinking of a way to leave, luckily her phone rang.
At first, she was scared it was Tamsin calling but looking at the screen, it was Mira.
She picked up excitedly “hey sister, why are you shouting? I’m coming home now don’t be angry”. As she said this, she packed her things, making hand gestures to them before waving bye.
Mira on the other end was quite confused because she was calling to ask if Lysa killed her Bougainvillea flower.
Lysa rushed out, took a taxi and headed straight home.
Since the call, Tamsin sat on her bed, confused about what to do.
She thought about it for 30min, then decided to call her mom for advice. Her mom wasn’t exactly chatty at the moment, so Tamsin kept it brief “Minister Alric Holt’s son committed murder and Lysa was a witness”. Her mom asked if Lysa was safe and told her to take care of Lysa as she must be in a great shock.
Lysa got home, went straight to her room, and locked the door. Mira knocked softly, asking if she was fine and if she’s not in any trouble because the call sounded a bit off. Lysa shouted at Mira to leave her alone, that she was fine.
After taking a shower, she called Tamsin back to give the full details of how the murder happened.
Tamsin’s younger sister coincidentally eavesdropped on the conversation, placing a call to her boyfriend. He couldn’t keep his mouth shut, called his best friend, and… boom!
