I was tossing and turning in my sleep as I was feeling the warmth that I never had before in my life. Oh wait, I was not in my bed last night. I was at Harriet’s and he knows who I was and what my side job was.
I opened my eyes to see that I was looking into the electric blue eyes that were glistening with mischief right now. I groaned before I was rolling to the other side as I was feeling the kisses that were planted on my skin. I giggled before I was turning to look at my future husband right now.
“Good morning, fiancée,” Harriet said as I was smiling at him. He kissed my lips before I was looking at the entangled sheets that we were in.
“Hmm, I never thought that waking up in the morning would be this good,” I said as I was looking at my fiancé. Harriet smiled before he was playing with my hair as I was tracing my fingers on his naked chest.
Broad shoulders and hard chest that made my mouth watered and my core was dripping wet right now. I was staring at the chest before Harriet chuckled which made me turned to look at him. He was smiling with mischief and I arched my eyebrows.
“What’s so funny?” I asked him before he was shaking his head. I narrowed my eyes at him before Harriet was pulling me to his side.
“You know, my brother Zeus just called after me and I think they heard what we did last night,” Harriet said before I felt my face was burning with embarrassment. I was glaring at him before smacking his chest with my hands. Harriet laughed.
“He said that we might need to get the marriage license as soon as possible. The high society of Sicily did not do well with children out of wedlock,” Harriet said as he was tracing his fingers on my bare arms. I shivered before I was looking into his electric orbs. He smirked.
“Well?” He asked me as I was tapping my chin. I don’t know what I will say but I think this will be the best thing ever happened to me. I don’t think that I, Jenny Franco, a kid who was growing up in the streets will end up with a Greek God of Sicilian Society.
“Hmm, that sounds very tempting but I think I have to think over. Maybe you can help me make my decision?” I asked him as I was straddling Harriet. He laughed at me before I was smirking wickedly at me.
“If I know that you would be like this every morning, I would have proposed to you from the first moment that I met you,” Harriet said as I was furrowing my eyebrows.
“Okay, now you made me wanted to know when was the first time that we met each other. I’m pretty sure it was at the airport but I think you were talking about something else. Care to share, caro?” I said as I was looking at Harriet. He laughed before he kissed my lips.
“Later, but for now, since you awakened me this early, we might not want to waste any more time right?” He said before I was underneath him in a second as I was laughing at his caveman style.
“I love you, Harriet Hermes Caprioli,”
“And you will be Mrs. Harriet Hermes Caprioli today, Jenny Franco. I want you to carry my name and bear my children. Besides, we don’t use at protection at all last night so I hope that our child was in there now,” Harriet said as he was caressing my stomach. I felt tears were brimming my eyes before I was smiling at him.
“Ti amo, caro,”
“Anch’io,” he said as I was smiling at him before we were getting it on. He was kissing my lips when I was spreading my legs for him. I have been dripping wet since I was looking into his electric eyes before I was caressing his back.
Harriet aligned himself in front of my core before I was pushing forward and taking that as an initiative from me, Harriet slammed inside me. I sighed.
Home, this is what home feels like.
After that, we showered together and by that, I meant that Harriet took me to shower so that he can have me in the shower, under the steamy water as I was panting and moaning his name. He was going down on me as I was gripping his blond hair before I was screaming his name.
“Harriet!”
“How many times do I have to remind it? It’s Hermes. I want you to call me that, cara mia,” he said as I was smiling before I was pulling him closer.
“Do not worry. I will call you that, but only when we’re alone and we’re not being interrupted by someone else. I will only shout that name when you are controlling me alone, caro,” I said huskily as Harriet was smirking at me.
“Now, that’s a bargain that I will refuse to back down. Fine, I will let you call me Hermes when we’re alone and in the bedroom only,” he said before I was smiling at him as Harriet was kissing me.
After the shower, we went to eat for our late breakfast that was conveniently in our bedroom. I was arching my eyebrow at Harriet before he just shrugged. We ate some meats and omelet before I was adorning a white cotton dress and we were off to the city hall. I was looking at the building as Harriet was opening the door for me and I was walking outside the car.
I smiled at Harriet before I was sighing. I don’t know why but I think I was not ready for this. I don’t think that my wedding would be to this hunk of a man and right now, his engagement ring was heavy on my left fingers.
“Wait, I want to ask you something before we’re doing this,” I said as I was stopping Harriet. He arched his eyebrows before he was looking at me as I was taking a deep breath.
“Do you love me?” I asked him as Harriet laughed.
“Just answer the question,” I said as I was glaring at him. Harriet sighed before he was standing in front of me and he was tucking my brown hair behind my ear. After that visit to Romano’s Reality, my hair has been glossy and healthy. I think Antonio Romano deserved to have that highest-paid cosmetologist in Italy after all.
“What kind of question is that? You know I do,” Harriet said before I laughed. I cannot help but been bugged by the real question of where we’re first met. I was smiling at him before I was looking at his face.
“Just tell me something,” I said before Harriet nodded.
“Anything,”
“Tell me where we first met. Help me understand that you are the person that I wanted to spend my life with. I know you would have any other woman than me but—“
“But it is you who wear my ring. Does that mean nothing to you?” Harriet asked as if he was being hurt right now. I gripped his hand before I was smiling at him.
“Of course I am honored, caro. But just tell me and I will put this behind us. I know that I was not a good woman with my background but help me understand,” I said as Harriet was looking at me. Then he nodded.
“Okay, you asked for it and I know that after this, you will never doubt your worth again, cara mia,” Harriet said and I was nodding.
“I promise and if it satisfies you, I will marry you in a heartbeat,’’ I said as Harriet was smirking at me with knowing eyes.
“OH, I know you will, cara mia. I know you will,”
