A Lost Cause

Lost Hope

When the biggest pain in your life,

Isn't losing someone who is dead,

But someone who is still alive.

Someone that has been a part of your daily life,

Since day one, or for as long as you remember,

Whether that is your childhood best friend or a relative.

They just are there anymore,

Mentally, Physically or Emotionally,

So in theory, It's like their dead,

Cause they aren't actively there.

Place of Mind

I always feel constantly trapped in the past,

The air around me is insufferable,

It's like the O2 levels have gone down and I'm struggling to breathe,

Can you see me through my restless soul?

Wanting to break free from the demons within,

I feel trapped here and there,

Where will you find me again?

Lift me up into your arms and hug me tight,

I might break down into your shoulders,

I feel relived that you can see through my eyes once one,

Forever, I am free from my own headspace.

My life support

I can't expect failure,

I can't expect achievement,

As I won't be disappointed.

I don't want to smile,

I don't want to not smile,

But you'll never see me break.

I don't want to be depressed,

I don't want to be happy,

I just want to live.

I can't expect you to love me,

I can't expect you to hate me,

Let be neutral,

I'm not your friend,

I'm not you enemies,

I'm a loved one,

I'm loved by many,

Liked by a few,

But I'm forever yours,

I may be small,

I may be big,

I may not even exist,

I keep you carm,

I keep you standing tall,

I sit on you lap,

I may be soft,

I may be rough,

But I am here for you,

I love you,

Always have always will,

For you are my pet.
