JACKY
I took a cab to go to the hospital. The drive was surprisingly peaceful, why, don't know either.
I focussed mainly on the bustling crowds of people walking about in a hurry. After a half hour drive, I finally reached the hospital.
I paid the taxi driver who kind of flirted with me. He was basically refusing to take the money, saying that he doesn't charge pretty ladies.
I threw the money to his face and walked inside the hospital, not looking back.
Rude right, but I don't care. A man the age of my father telling me such things, that's disgusting.
I walked to the receptionist who glared at me when I told her I have an appointment with Dr Dean. I guess Dr Dean has a lot of secret admirers here.
The sand blonde haired girl was beautiful, her full lips, button nose and big for eyes were totally eye-catching.
She sneered after I walked away from her towards his office. Too bad that her looks were matched with her mean soul.
I won't lie if I said Dr Dean was handsome. Actually the kind of man I'd like to fall in love with and start a family.
He's young, 28 years old, 6'2, and a muscular man who is extremely kind and diligent.
Not forgetting his beautiful face. Also, he's a bachelor, so anytime I'd like to have a man, I guess he'll be the best candidate.
I knock on his door and enter when a 'come in' from the other side of the door.
He's seated behind a white desk, patient files piled on his left and a desktop before him.
He has fresh orchids in a vase seated on the window as the afternoon sun flitters in the office shining on them.
Two grey couches with black cushions and an armchair are placed on the right side of his office, with a white coffee table between them.
A water dispenser on his left end, just near the window while an ac just above the window. If you ask me, his office is well decorated.
He beams giving me his beautiful smile.
" Princess, it's so great to see you again. How've you been doing? Come, have a seat. "
He ushers his hand towards one couch in his office with a tight smile.
" Thanks, I've been quite well Dr Dean. How are you doing? "
He replies,
" I've been well too. What did I say about calling me, princess?"
I messed up again, he always insists on being called by his name.
Also he calls me 'princess' which I kinda feel like there's a meaning behind it.
He comes towards the couch and sits across from me. " Coffee, tea or water?"
I shake my head and he insists,
" Come on princess, you need something. Don't worry, it's on me. "
I nod curtly not wanting to sound rude and order a cup of espresso . I don't know why but whenever he calls me 'princess', my stomach churns.
Not with butterflies, but I always feel like there's something behind it.
Even though I said he could be the best candidate, all I feel for him is pure respect and nothing else.
He calls his secretary who comes with two cups of coffee, espresso and cappuccino.
I turn my head only to meet that blonde's death glare. Her glare practically meant
' back off ! He's mine b***h! '
I take my espresso with a small saccharine smile, although a fake one and mutter a ' thank you '.
She gives Dr Dean his coffee, brushing her fingers against his in process while opening her chest a bit.
I roll my eyes at obvious flirty behavior. She walks out, after giving me a lopsided smile that screams of
' Told you so. He's mine, b***h '.
After she left, Dr Dean and I started our session.
I told him about my weird dream that I had the previous night. He practically said that it was my brain creating illusions, which were supported by alcohol that night.
Time passed and it was 5 pm. We finished our session and I wanted to go home.
" Let me walk you out. I have something to talk to you about on the way. "
He said and we started walking out. We passed the receptionist who kept glaring at me. If looks could kill, I would be dead a hundred times already.
" Princess, are you free tonight. I'd like to take you out if you don't mind. "
He asked while scratched the back of his neck nervously.
" I'd really like to but I have plans for tonight. Maybe tomorrow."
I said with a small smile and bid him a 'good bye'. My cab arrives and he opens the door for me.
I mutter a small 'thanks' as he guides me inside the cab. He only walks back when the cab has already left.
THIRD PERSON'S POV
Nick had informed Mason about Jacky's whereabouts. Mason had instructed his men to put small cameras in her house, so that he could know what she was doing at home.
He also put speakers so that he could hear her not forgetting hacking her phone so that he could know who she talked or texted with, and about what .
Well we must say that he took stalking too far.
He also had some of his men on her tail so that he knows where and what time she leaves home, to meet up with whom.
Right now, he knows that 'His Jacky', as he thinks was in a hospital, talking to her psychiatrist.
Mason finished all his meetings early while leaving some to Nick to come and see Jacky.
After a couple of hours, Mason was able to see her. The afternoon's sun glow showed off her delicately scattered freckles on her nose and cheeks.
The wind blew her red hair ruffling it a bit as the sun created a golden halo on it. Mason had to fight the urge to take her to his room and do kinky stuff to her body.
He saw her coming from the hospital with the doctor making him growl possessively, as he could tell he was a vampire too.
What surprised him the most was his audacity to ask his mate for a date.
Jacky, as Nick's report said, politely declined his offer while giving him a small smile.
Mason felt a surge of jealousy rushing through him because his woman smiled at another man.
"Baby, your smiles are mine. Mine alone!" He muttered angrily under his breath.
'I won't let that happen baby, if you're gonna go for a date then it has to be you're going with. Me only.' he said as dark veins started to show on his face.
He was beyond pissed! He swore to kill that doctor with his bare hands. Actually tearing his heart out.
The ride to her home was awfully peaceful. Jacky knew that this was just calm after the storm as she's been there before.
She looked over the rear view mirror only to find the driver looking at her.
He was eye f*****g her through the rear view mirror. Her breath started to shorten as she could see black dots in her vision.
'How much damage had that man, that night done?'
Jacky was tired of this and wanted to feel more…normal.
She took deep breaths while trying to not think about that night.
She tried the 5-4-3-2-1 method and eventually her breaths started to even out.
She cleared her throat loudly while keeping a strong eye contact with the driver.
He suddenly looked away from her and focused on driving. Jacky unknowingly acted like a queen like she's meant to be.
After a few minutes of utter silence, the car pulled up before her house stepped out, paid the money and walked away.
She could feel dangerous eyes on her ever since she walked out of the hospital.
She let out a tired sigh and entered her beautiful haven for almost a decade.
That settling feeling of peace came back engulfing her senses. She was home and peaceful, where always felt safe yet lonely sometimes.
After placing her keys in a small tray, he walked directly to the bathroom for a shower.
Jacky then connected the bathroom Bluetooth speaker to her phone. She had an impromptu concert in the bathroom singing Chandelier by Sia loudly.
She came out with only a towel wrapped in her body showing off her full hourglass curves, which she never appreciated.
She quickly changed into a pair of buggy sweatpants and blue tank top.
Her wet long red hair is still wet. She then blowdried it quickly and headed for the kitchen to cook something.
It was almost 7 pm. She took her phone and called Mar but she was unreachable.
She tried the same with Ceci but still the same news. She sighed and walked over her fridge to prepare herself supper. She settled with a burrito bowl and her espresso.
After taking out the needed ingredients she began cooking which was done in after half an hour.
She served herself and sat on one of the stools eating as she started applying for the job.
After a few minutes she was done eating and job application and started cleaning her kitchen.
Jacky then walked to her bookshelf to take her book, going towards the balcony, with her espresso at hand.
She sat in one of the seats, deeply immersed in the words, not noticing the menacing eyes of her fated mate on her.
On the other side, Mason was keeping an eye on her, everything she did; even when she scrunched her nose, frowned or pouted.
His eyes were like that of a hawk, observing its prey from the sky.
When she came out the bathroom with just a towel wrapped in her curvy wet body.
Showing him a little piece of what he's yet to see, made him hard making his imaginations run wild.
Not forgetting how her ass shook when moved. Only if she knew, she wouldn't have acted so impulsive like this.
His eyes never missed how her hands moved with expertise when she was cooking. Everything about her was utterly beautiful in his eyes.
His mouth watered when he saw her food which looked absolutely delicious.
Although vampires don't necessarily eat food, Mason wanted to taste it.
He wondered if she could make herself that delicious for him.
His raging manhood was now popped up with veins, demanding care. Mason tried to ignore it but the more he tried, the more dirty pictures came in his mind.
He slyly grinned when he saw that she was applying for the job, distracting his desires for a while.
His phone chimed and saw her email, which he knew that she waltzed inside the trap.
A trap which he'll never let her go no matter how much she begged or what she'll want to offer that isn't her.
A trap that'll bind her forever with his dark soul as her monster of a mate.
Mason watched how her ass shook when she walked and wished to spank it hard, multiple times.
She was infuriatingly addictive and he knew once he had her he would never get enough nor letting her go.
She belonged to him from the day she was born and no one was gonna stop him. After some time, she walked to her bedroom and slept shortly.
Even in her sleep she looks like an angel. He took this chance to have a shower and change.
Before he teleported to her, Nick mindlinked him that there was an emergency that needed his immediate attention.
Although Nick was always playful, his urgent and serious tone made him believe.
He teleported to her only to kiss her forehead and tell her a goodnight before teleporting back to Nick, fully dressed in a suit.
Amazing right, but what can't a vampire do?
"The elders called and they said something came up. It seems pretty serious."
Nick told Mason who nodded curtly.
He inwardly sighed saying,
" Responsibilities, they never end."
