CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE THURSDAY, AUGUST 19, 2027 4:20am (00:11:08:13) When the elevator doors opened Hannah was accosted by Kim Jesser, the programmer who had possibly started this whole mess. She was excited to the point of hysteria, almost jumping out of her shoes. “Kim, I came as quickly as possible. What have you discovered?” Hannah asked, hoping the woman could calm down enough to explain. “I’m sorry it’s so late, Detective, but this couldn’t wait,” the young woman said. “It’s ok, Kim. I wasn’t asleep.” It was a lie. She had managed to close her eyes less than two hours ago.
