Between the Two Alpha's

Chapter 1: Suddenly Happened

As Lauryn was walking with the others back to the pack, initially all went well, nothing suspicious happened during their night hunt. Lauryn never thought she would experience all this misfortune.

This nightmare started when Lauryn returned to the pack, from a distance she and the night hunting group could see that many of their pack members had crowded in front of the entrance gate to their pack.

At first, Lauryn thought that they were waiting for their return from the hunt, "I didn't expect our return would be greeted by so many people like this," Lauryn whispered to her best friend, James, who was also part of the hunting group tonight.

"I also think the same as you. But, isn't it strange to see them gathered here, especially since I saw Alpha also there." James also whispered back to Lauryn, this time for some reason he felt something was strange, like it was unusual for people to welcome a night hunting group like this.

Lauryn had noticed that her mate, Sebastian, who doubled as the Alpha of the Amethyst Moon pack was also in the ranks of the people gathered in their pack's gate. For a moment Lauryn thought that it wasn't Sebastian a little too much at this time, if he had come here to await for her return.

When she thinks about it, you can see that Lauryn's cheeks are a little red with embarrassment when she thinks about something romantic from Sebastian who usually acts cold to her. "Isn't he there waiting for me?" whispered Lauryn again while holding back her growing smile.

However, Lauryn didn't know what was actually waiting for her when she arrived at the pack, right now all she could think was that Sebastian was there to wait for her, not to accuse her of all his false accusations.

And when Lauryn and her group arrived at their team, the captain who led their group chose to report their return and also what game they had brought home this time.

However, what was astonishing was when the people that were brought by Sebastian started walking towards Lauryn and started holding both of her hands to secure her first. Then, Sebastian stepped closer to Lauryn with a very cold glare.

While Lauryn herself did not understand what was happening to her at this time. Even though she was confused, Lauryn didn't do anything because she thought there was something serious that Sebastian wanted to say to her, even though she slightly didn't understand why she had to be held like this by the two warriors trusted by Sebastian.

"What's going on, Alpha?" Since there were still a lot of people around them tonight, Lauryn of course had to call Sebastian by his title, there was no way she could call him by name alone.

"You still ask what's wrong with me? Shouldn't I be the one asking about what you've been doing all this time?” Sebastian replied angrily, he couldn't hold back his anger when he remembered how his beta had reported to him that their defeat against their enemy a moment ago was because someone had leaked their plans.

And from the report that Sebastian received, the one who leaked the information was Lauryn, who was his own Mate. At first, Sebastian didn't want to believe this report, but he thought that people would misunderstand if he didn't believe the information the beta gave him.

So for now, Sebastian decided to catch Lauryn first so they would interrogate her further.

Lauryn frowned in confusion, she really didn't know what Sebastian really meant at this time, her imagination about Sebastian being here to wait for her return began to collapse with the reality she was currently facing. Seeing that she was being accused of something she didn't do. Lauryn began to rebel and intended to free herself.

“What exactly have I done? Let me go! You can't treat me like this." Lauryn also tried to throw the warriors' tight grip on her arms, but no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't escape their grip.

"If you confess now about your crime, then I will not punish you severely," Sebastian replied still coldly, seeing how Lauryn dodged his statement, for some reason made him suspect Lauryn even more at this time.

“Tell me clearly about what you mean by what I did!” roared Lauryn angrily, she couldn't accept Sebastian's treatment like this to her.

“Don't you think that since you are my mate, I will let you off the hook after leaking our pack's information to the enemy!” Unable to accept Lauryn's sharp reply, Sebastian began to get emotional and shouted back at Lauryn.

For a moment Lauryn was silent when she heard what Sebastian said, even though she could feel the people who took part in the night hunt with her were surprised by Sebastian's words. Lauryn really could not stop thinking that with the accusations that were being accused of her at this time, how could she possibly leak pack information to their enemies.

Even though Lauryn was one of the Warriors in the Amethyst Moon pack, she would not do such a heinous thing, how could she share something so secret. Would not Lauryn be endangering herself if she did that? Remembering that she would go down directly to the battlefield.

“Alpha, really I did not do any of that! There must be someone trying to frame me!” After knowing the reason why Sebastian was like this to her, Lauryn also tried to explain her situation at the moment.

“Take her to the dungeon!” Without intending to listen to Lauryn's explanation, Sebastian immediately ordered his warriors to take Lauryn into their dungeon which was underground.

Lauryn's eyes widened when she heard what Sebastian said, she fought back from the grips of the warriors, not wanting to be put in an underground prison that was usually used as a place to torture someone.
