Chapter 2: Save Yourself

1156 Words
Throughout the journey she was taken to the dungeon by the warriors, Lauryn kept struggling to break free because she did not accept what the people in the Amethyst Moon pack accused her of. How could Lauryn who was the daughter of a senior warrior from this pack be a traitor. "Let me go! You will regret doing this to me!” Lauryn shouted loudly while using some of her strength to break free from the shackles of the warriors who gripped her very tightly. Considering that Lauryn was the daughter of a great warrior, it was certain that her strength was strong enough even though she was a woman, even the warriors holding her had to expend their strength to hold Lauryn's arm so she would not escape. “Miss Floretta, I hope you can cooperate with us. We don't intend to hurt you, so don't make us do it to make you calm," said one of the warriors, starting to threaten Lauryn to calm down a little because she was the one who kept struggling from their grasp. Lauryn could only hiss in annoyance when she heard how the warriors replied, it seemed they were very serious this time, she couldn't act rashly like this, she had to wait for the right time to run away and prove that what she was accused of was not true. Soon Lauryn could see the appearance of the dungeon belonging to the Amethyst Moon pack, cold sweat started to run down her back when she saw that place, because she knew how things were in the dungeon and what would happen to her if Sebastian insisted on saying that he was a traitor. Thinking of what her fate would be if she continued to be in the dungeon, Lauryn couldn't calm down and kept worrying about what would happen to her later. . . . At that time, Lauryn didn't know whether it was day or night outside, she could only stay silent in her cell feeling restless. "How about this? Until now Sebastian hasn't come to see me to explain all these things, there's no way he's going to actually punish me for those false accusations?” I don't know how many times Lauryn has walked back and forth behind the iron bars. What was surprising was that Lauryn heard footsteps coming from the direction of the entrance, she didn't know whether to be happy or worried at this moment, it would be good if the one who came to her at this time was Sebastian and explained to her that all of this was just a joke that he made to play a trick on Lauryn. However, at that time Lauryn could see that it was her father who came to visit her, who was a warrior that Sebastian trusted very much from the Amethyst Moon pack, she was very surprised when she saw the figure of her father coming to the dungeon. Instantly Lauryn felt that something bad was really going to come to her. "Father! What are you doing here?" asked Lauryn in disbelief when she saw her father standing in front of her at this time, especially when she saw the look on her father's face that looked very worried and also pale. "Lauryn, I don't have much time to explain all of this to you," said Lambert - Lauryn's father - while continuing to look behind him, making sure that no one was there. "Father, calm down, you can explain briefly, I really don't understand what's going on here right now," Lauryn replied, holding both of her father's hands, really wishing Lambert would explain something to her so she could think about it. the current situation. "No matter what happens to you, keep this thing with you, don't lose it!" Lambert didn't pay attention to what Lauryn said to him, he preferred to give an object wrapped in a silk cloth to Lauryn. "One thing you need to know, you must immediately escape from this pack, they will execute you if you stay here," Lambert continued while warning Lauryn about her current situation. "What do you mean by execution?! Father, I am not a traitor!” Lauryn feels so frustrated right now because everyone accuses her of being a traitor, where she didn't do anything that betrayed her pack. “I trust you, Lauryn. It's just that the people in the pack already believed in the fact that you were a traitor. Let me settle things here first, you can leave here until the situation calms down,” Lambert explained quickly, he didn't have much time to explain what was happening in the Amethyst Moon pack at this time. One by one, Lauryn's tears began to fall from her eyes. She couldn't hold back her sadness at this time, even though she and Sebastian would soon be married, but why did something bad like this happen to her? “Hurry, Lauryn! You have to leave here right now!" Lambert said then, he immediately unlocked Lauryn's holding cell, so he could get out of there and escape while they still had time. Knowing that the current situation was very worrying, Lauryn immediately wiped the tears that fell down her cheeks, then put away the package that her father had given her, after that she immediately got out of her cell to quickly escape from there. Before actually leaving the dungeon, Lauryn turned back to her father, “Where should I go, Father? How long do I have to run away?” asked Lauryn, full of confusion in her mind. “Go as far as you can. Come back when you can make sure that Sebastian can believe your words,” Lambert replied looking into Lauryn's eyes deeply, honestly he couldn't let his daughter become Rogue out there. "Take care of yourself, Father." For the last time, Lauryn ran to hug her father, then immediately walked away from the dungeon without turning back, because she didn't know whether she could hold herself back if she turned around to see her father again. That night, Lauryn, running away only with the package that her father gave to her, decided to leave the Amethyst Moon pack. Lauryn didn't know what would happen to her later, one thing that was certain was that she had to escape now, she had to save her life first. Even though Lauryn was very angry when she remembered how she was slandered as a traitor by someone who was not responsible. What made Lauryn very disappointed was the fact that Sebastian believed all the slander about her, she still couldn't stop thinking how her mate could believe something unreasonable like this. With a tight chest seeing how her life has changed in just one day like this, Lauryn couldn't hold back the explosion of disappointment in her heart, that night she ran away with bursts of tears full of sorrow.
