“WHAT THE-“ my jaw almost dropped when I saw my condo’s state as soon as I opened the door “What happened in my place?” I whispered at isa-isang pinulot ang mga nakakalat sa sahig.

I shook my head ng makita ko ang kitchen “Miserable…” I murmured, nagkalat ang mga plastic ng instant noodles at preserved goods everywhere, I took a deep breath “What kind of situation did I get myself into?” I steadily shook my head saka isa-isang itinapon ang mga basura.

“Oh!” I heard a female voice from my behind “I’m sorry….” She said but I don’t think she’s really sorry “hindi pa ako nakakapaglinis…” pasweet niyang dugtong, I shrugged, I’ll bet wala ka naman talagang balak maglinis!

“We agreed about it di ba?” I answered her without looking back, dumeretso ako sa refrigerator para kumuha ng tubig, nakakapagod sa trabaho “Twelve hours lang ako nawala and my place turned into a slum!”

“SLUM?” she almost shouted “OA mo ah!” she added “I’m about to clean the place na when you suddenly came…” she explained. I doubt! I really doubt!

I turned my back to face her “A-AH…” to my surprise she was just covering her body with a white towel “D-did you j-just t-took a shower?” I asked her, she smiled and curled her wet hair using her candle-like index finger.

“Yeah…” she smiled seductively.

Flashback

“Sophie…” I begged at her “Wala ka na bang ibang pwedeng pakiusapan?”

“Bren…” she hold my hands “Ikaw lang ang pwede kong pagkatiwalaan sa babaeng iyon. She is my bestfriend, she is important to me. Di ba you said before na kung may mga taong mahahalaga sa akin ganun din yun sa iyo?”

“Did I?” I asked her back.

“Bren…” alma niya.

“Okay… Okay…” I surrendered.

“Thank you Doc…” and she kissed me on the cheek and walked to the door’s direction pero bago pa man siya makalabas ng tuluyan she warned me of something.

“Bren, Sie likes to play. Don’t you dare accept her provocations or else you’ll surely lose the game…”

End of Flashback

“Doc…” she walked near me “I will not do it again, promise!” and she raised her right hand “Tsaka hindi pa ako nakakapag thank you sa iyo..” she even walked a bit closer to me, I can now smell the shower gel she used, is that a rose or vanilla? A m-maybe a combination of both “Thank you for letting me stay here…” she smiled again. I gulped.

I saw the water droplets from her wet hair running down her shoulders. Her slender shoulders. Her white and soft-looking shoulders.

She touched my ear, my left ear and caressed it, I felt an emerging excitement from

the bottom of my feet. Damn, is this what Sophie warned me about?

“We can be friends you know…” she said with a warm voice. A very kind offer from a very seductive woman.

“F-Fri…Friends?” I stuttered.

“Uhum…” She softly replied and licked her lips, her reddish lips… “If you want-“

She was interrupted when suddenly my phone rang. I saw how she mouthed a curse after hearing it. She looked frustrated.

“E-Excuse me…” I slightly pushed her shoulder at pasimpleng pinunasan ang namuong pawis sa noo ko.

“Hello?” I answered my phone.

‘Bren…’ It’s Sophie

“Oh thank you Sophie!” I walked inside my room, buti na lang merong dalawang rooms ang condo ko, one for me and the other one is for my maid.

I heard Sophie chuckled ‘Why? Did I just save you from an oh-so-hard-to-resist-situation?’ she teased me.

“Sophie…” I breathe out “Is she that dangerous?” I curiously asked and she replied me with her loud laugh.

‘Yeah, so she started na pala? Did she seduce you already?’ she asked

“Well, based on her acts. I can say y-yes…” I honestly answered her.

‘and you almost gave in? Hahaha'

“Sof baka naman pwede kang maghanap ng ibang kukupkop sa kanya baka makagawa pa ako ng kasalanan…” I begged her.

‘Bren…’ she took a deep breath ‘Ikaw lang pwede kong pagkatiwalaan, I know the level of your temper and self- discipline. You’re the only one who can I trust…’

“Sof…”

‘Just think of me. Just do whatever it takes to resist her! Mapapagod din yan, oka? Sige I’m cutting the line,talk to you again…soon…’ and I heard a disconnecting sound.

Ano ba itong pinasok ko?

I took a shower at nagbihis na rin agad, I’m hungry, I went directly sa kitchen para tignan kung ano ang pwedeng makakain “Where are the foods?” tanong ko sa kanya after kong makitang walang nakaprepare na pagkain for dinnerz

She is busy watching movies sa HBO "Hmm marami kang stocks sa shelf…” she answered me “You can always open a can of corned beef or whatever food you like…” she added.

“WHAT?” I asked her in disbelief “Akala ko ba we agreed na you will stay here but in return you will keep the house clean… cook for me and do the chores!”

She stared at me and narrowed her eyes “I don’t know how to cook and you didn’t even leave a single penny para makabili man lang ng pizza kung gusto mo man lang ng hot food!” and she just dropped the bomb like that. Hindi marunong magluto? May babae pa palang hindi marunong magluto?

“And what will you do? You will just sit down there whole day long? You didn’t even clean my place-“

“Hey! Hey! Hey! I told you that I will not do it again di ba? I promised na di ba? You get it? Don’t cry over spilled milk!”

I closed eyes saka saglit na tumalikod at tumingala. Patience. Patience.

“YOU!” I need more patience!

“Okay, okay...” I took deep breath while trying to calm myself. Hinarap ko siya.

“Sie… hindi pwedeng ganito, hindi pwede ang ginagawa mo kailangan mong paghirapan din kahit papaano ang pagtira mo dito…” I said calmly.

“Next week, I am going to have a medical mission in an isolated area somewhere in Visayas….” She raised her left eyebrow habang naka crossed arms, at least she's listening “And you’re coming with me!” I said with finality and before she can complain, I turned my back on her.

I really need to TEACH this woman a LESSON she will never forget!
