Crossed Path

t’s 6:43am and I have just gotten out of bed. I usually wake up earlier than this but today and ofcourse some days are exceptions. I drag my tired body to the bathroom to take a shower, clean my mouth and get ready to go to the office. I try on my new set of Louboutin and swagger up to the door, grasp the knob and twist it only to be met with the infuriating click of a locked door . I give the knob a confident turn once more and ….nope it’s locked. “f**k” I curse under my breath, thinking of ways to deal with that bastard after I find a way to get out of here. And when I say “ bastard” I mean my husband, Benneth Red. We had quarreled before bed and had ranted about packing my things out of his house and returning to my brother’s house. Luckily I have my phone with me. I scroll on my phone to find my secretary’s number, I quickly dial it and she picks up, “ hello Mrs Red” and I respond “ please get a locksmith and come with him or her to my place asap, I locked my door and can’t find the keys”. About 45 minutes later, I hear a knock and respond “Genevieve, is that you? “ “ Yes,Mrs Red, it’s me” she says. I get up from the edge of my bed as I hear the sound of a lock falling into place .
