Just as the voice had spoken, an hologram had suddenly appeared in front of everyone's visual field showing a different set of vehicles ranging all the way from camels, donkeys, dragons, strange flying creatures, planes, cars, motorcycles and an infinite others in infinite varieties

Zhangshun Shan had chosen a completely black KOT 6X powerbike, it's similar to PCJ 600 of our world but the power bike had some added powerups.

Ashley thought it would be just a usual race so she had just picked a simple car, Chevrolet.

Xi Hing chose a horse which closely resembled an Andalusian horse.

Rui Hongcha chose an American quarter horse, Mui Li chose a donkey while Jumoeng Sheng chose a camel, they were of the opinion that endurance was more key than speed.

Sui Wenyan and Qui Si chose a special type of slippers as they wanted to be more free and being in a vehicle felt limiting and hard to maneuver.

#AND ALSO, NOT NEGLECTING,# the voice came again. #THE PURPOSE OF THIS RACE ISN'T JUST TO REACH A FINISH LINE BUT RATHER TO EARN POINTS, THE ONLY WAY TO EARN POINTS IS BY ELIMINATION OF OTHER RACERS, THE ENTIRE DISTANCE OF THE RACE WILL BE ABOUT AN INFINITE LIGHT YEARS SO EARN AS MUCH POINTS AS POSSIBLE BEFORE REACHING THE FINISH LINE.#

As that was said, there was general panic on most of the faces of the racers, some had malicious grins on her face.

"I have to keep my cool," Ashley thought. "Getting unhinged here won't do me any good, this might be my first time driving but Mui Li promised to protect me, he's less scary than my god boyfriend." As she thought that, she looked over in Mui Li's direction who winked at her, Ashley couldn't help but blush at the wink.

#ALL RACERS READY,# the voice came again reverberating around, as the voice spoke, they suddenly appeared in a dessert-like area with nothing but cactus trees and some four legged beasts with red coloured manes all over their faces, their lower body looked like that of hyenas and they were at least 5'9 even when standing on their fore and hind limbs, they smirked evilly in the direction of the racers. #NOT GAINING ANY POINT IN THIS RACE ALSO COUNTS AS ELIMINATION SO ENSURE YOU GAIN QUITE A BIT OF POINTS, GODSPEED RACERS.#

The voice ends, as it did, an hologram in the shape of the figure 3 appeared overhead of all the racers, all of them them started whatever they were riding as they slowly waited for the countdown above them to reduce, soon, the next figure showed 2, before it could reach one, many of the racers took of as they drove away hurriedly but almost immediately as they began, the beasts whom they saw initially which smirked at them evilly dashed towards them. It was a m******e as the strange beasts tore the limbs of every racer who had took off before the countdown.

There was deafening screams as limbs and arms were ripped off, eyes were gouged out and throats were slit off with the beasts sharp claws. Whoseover those beasts were, they show enjoyed their torture.

Ashley watched in fear as she beheld all that happened, she could feel herself peeing, she went numb as she could no longer think, what took place before her was more than she could bear, she didn't expect it to happen at all.

Whilst she still watched, the hologram suddenly disappeared as it had already showed one, every other racer took off but the beats who went after the initial racers made noove to go after them.

"Ashley," she heard someone call out her voice, Ashley still feeling numb and scared for her life turned at who was calling her, it was Zhangshun Shan, his face was as expressionless as ever but she hadn't moved as they were the only ones at the starting line.

As Ashley turned at him, she realized that Zhangshun Shan had been calling her name for a certain time but she had not just realized until that moment.

"I am so scared," she blurted out as tears rolled down her cheeks. "I don't want to die, I want to live, I came here cause I wanted amusement but this is too much, I wanna suck a d**k, have s*x, f**k, get into a relationship, hopefully get married and give birth to kids, why did you bring me here? I can't endure this any more, this is far too horrifying, it wasn't what I expected."

"Expectations do not always manifest into reality," Zhangshun Shan began. "Death is part of life just as life is part of death, they both can't exist without the other just like the two sides of a coin, death will always take part in life just like life will arise so that death can surface, it doesn't matter the means by which people die whether seemingly horrifying or blissful, all the same it's still death be it as a result of old age or unneeded violence but so long that death doesn't reach you or the ones that you love, that's what matters," Zhangshun Shan said with his most confident face, Ashley could feel the tears on her face drying. "Just because the end of all life is death doesn't stop us from having dreams and chasing them, you can't let deaths weaken your will to live because death is as much a part of life just as much as you are, that's why no matter what, we press on, we do our very best and no matter what, you never ever give up cause the moment your will to live becomes broken, then that's the moment you die, it's not until you can no longer breathe that you die, the moment anyone loses the will to live, that's what death is, so long you have that will, you can never ever die but when you lose your will, you have fudging lost it all and I, Zhangshun Shan," Zhangshun Shan grins with his most demeaning smirk as he points to himself. "Shall never ever die," he ends as he looks over at Ashley. "and Ashley, if you will walk by my side, I promise you that you won't ever die, I will shoulder all your burden and any harm that comes near you shall immediately be extinguished by me, this is the word of Zhangshun Shan and every word of Zhangshun Shan becomes reality."

"You really are a proud god boyfriend," Ashley smiled. "You are also scary too," she continues. "But you are just perfect for me."

"Great," Zhangshun Shan smiled as he turned away from her direction, facing ahead, he could see several projectiles such as fireballs, ice-balls, energy blasts and so much being launched at various vehicles. "Now, let's ride."

As Zhangshun Shan said that, he started his bike and zoomed off, Ashley wasn't too far behind.

A red Lamborghini which was directly before Zhangshun Shan suddenly turned around, from the driver's seat, an object emerged, it was a M134 minigun, it fired rapidly at Zhangshun Shan.

"Martial arts style : beyond light," Zhangshun Shan mutters underneath his breath, the bullets came towards him but Zhangshun Shan easily maneuvered all incoming bullets with ease. "Martial arts style : baby wind," Zhangshun Shan said as he inhaled as little air as he could. He exhaled towards the vehicle, a great wind surfaced as it lifted the vehicle in the atmosphere, Ashley could feel her hair flying wild as she watched Zhangshun Shan in awe.

"He's so cool," she thought.

While the vehicle was still in the air, a figure jumped down from it, he had blonde hair, was about 6'2 feet tall, brown eyes and a well-defined oval face. He was dressed in a three-piece white suit, he lands on the ground on his two feet, he adjusted his jacket as he grinned. "Now, that's what I call a dramatic entry."

He smiled as he looked at Zhangshun Shan. "You must be Zen," his voice was unnaturally deep and suave, Ashley couldn't help as red came all over her cheeks, Zhangshun Shan was annoyed as the stranger had misspelt his name.

"The name is actually Zhangshun Shan not Zen."

"it's too long, that's why it had to be shortened and also neglecting the length, it's difficult go pronounce and hard to remember, I gave you a name which was better to pronounce and also to remember, you should be thanking me," the man said with a snicker, Zhangshun Shan gritted his teeth in annoyance.

"On the other hand," the man continues. "My name is not as long, it's just Ken..."

"Ken, that's really short and kinda sexy," Ashley ended the last part of her sentence with a mutter. "Is that your full name or..."

"You interrupted me, I was yet to say my full name," Ken smiled as he continued, "it's actually Kenpachi alaskxbskalsnaokapaabzusmsoanahakaoanagakakaiaavahajakzoak..." Zhangshun Shan and Ashley opened up their mouths in amazement as Ken said a total of four hundred and eighty five million words.

"Were you saying something," Zhangshun began when Ken was done speaking. "I lost you at the part when you were at blah blah blah."

"Don't be rude," Ken said confidently as he adjusted his jacket. "Now, I shall eliminate you, you look like you would be trouble and a gentleman always avoids trouble."

"Your name is even worse than Zan's one," Ashley frowned in his direction.

"Of course, young chap," Ken began now adjusting his collar. "I am a sixteenth dimensional being, our names are absurdly long when I try to interpret it in any of the 3D languages."

"I am tired of your existence, it's high time I end it," Zhangshun Shan frowned as he jumped towards Ken. Ken smiled as he adjusted his jacket again, the Lamborghini which he was riding in earlier suddenly dropped to the ground, the rear mirrors at the two frontal seat suddenly transformed to a sort of minigun machine but it was a XM196 model.

"Earlier on," Ken began. "You put a bravado into making us think you had completely snuffed every being of their powers but what you had actually done was manipulate our essence so much that we couldn't manipulate other objects directly but I can manipulate myself or any object that I have mentally created," Ken smiled as he now adjusted his tie. "This is what you are thinking, I am only fascinated with miniguns seeing that it's the only type of projectile that's popping out as I can create anything, the rate of fire of the weapon I fired earlier, I am sure you based it on your knowledge of miniguns thinking that it's rate of fire was ranging from 2000-6000 rpm and it's muzzle velocity was 2,800 feet per second, the XM196 model is also similar but what you are wrong about is that I can also manipulate the speed of both objects, after all, concepts itself don't apply to me."

As Ken said that, the bullets he fired earlier suddenly turned, it was practically as if they had been frozen in the air as they quickly turned and began to move speedily towards Zhangshun Shan. Zhangshun Shan gritted his teeth as he said aloud. "Martial arts : beyond light speed arc 2," his entire body was now enveloped in yellow and white light, Zhangshun Shan ran for his dear life as he hurriedly dodged all of the bullets but they didn't stop they kept moving freely at him at speeds beyond human comprehension.

"My bullets are currently moving at Lict 96.7," Ken began as he was now adjusting the collar of his suit. "In case you are wondering what Lict is, if simply refer to a term in speeds in advanced physics for 4D beings and above, it simply means 500, 000 times the speed of light, you are using Krigo and it's difficult for you to keep up with it's speed," as he said that, several bullets whizzed past Zhangshun Shan entering his arm and legs. "ahhrrgghhhhhh!!!," Zhangshun Shan screamed aloud as he side stepped to his right in order to avoid the bullets which were moving frantically at him. "I am a gentleman and a gentleman must always maintain his cool and be gentle at all times, after all, it's in the name, GENTLEman, the way you spoke earlier, you threw most of my counterparts into panic but since I refused to be terrified, I realized what was going on, you were also manipulating the fact that we were in a 1A plane in order to get into our psyche to think that we couldn't also manipulate our environment because you had weakened us," Ken continued now adjusting his jacket, the bullets which were chasing Zhangshun Shan had multiplied as they now rained down on him, he was barely surviving. In battle, anger surfaces as a result of fear of losing control, when the tide of battle isn't going in your favor or you are losing your comrades, you get angry but the one who is cool shall eventually dominate over all as when you are cool and calm-headed, there are things you observe that you won't be able to when you are in another state of mind," Ken smiled as he now approached Zhangshun Shan who laid on the ground he was bleeding all over as he was brutally injured, he was a bloody mess and there were bullet holes all over his body. "Thanks to the fact that I am a gentleman," Ken began adjusting his collar. "I was able to deduce the kind of person you are, you are fond of getting into people's emotional well-being and manipulating them to your advantage, you directly put that fear into everyone when this tournament started so that as time went on, you would be able to manipulate us all into thinking your power was beyond our reach and you would destroy us, well, I have news for you, the only one who's in control of every situation is the calmest one and I," Ken grinned as he points to himself, "am the calmest of all."

"Great," Ashley thought. "He now has his back turned towards me, I can use dragons breath of great wind to knock him away." Ashley squeezed as she looked over at Ken, she focused all her internal energies but nothing happened. "What's wrong," she thought. "I am focusing as hard as I can, why am I not expelling any power?"

"It's obvious, I disabled the power concept of Krigo for you," Ken began, his back still turned against her. "Krigo is a 3D power concept amongst countless others but those concepts are meaningless to me, while I can't manipulate this environment or the living objects of lower dimensional tier, I can still manipulate concepts, I had all this figured out as I was gentle and cool, and the one who's the most gentle in battle shall always dominate," Ken grinned as he now adjusted his tie, Ashley sunk to her car seat, she was shaking profusely out of fear. "Was Zan lying to me? Is Zan going to die? How am I supposed to beat this guy, he's practically like a god, this isn't fair."

"I shall always win," Ken continues. "Because I am a gentleman."
