Tournament of the Gods

It begins!!!

Zhangshun Shan looked at everyone who was still in the arena, he could see looks of fear on every single participant, Xiwangmu still laid unconscious on the ground.

"This is strange," Zhangshun Shan thought.  "The expressions on their faces do show fear but they are not supposed to look this way, the threat which brought this fear upon them was Bale and d**k, those two appear to have gone so why are they still quaking like the maggots they are."

While Zhangshun Shan was thinking, he felt a prescence suddenly behind him.  "The god slayer, I underestimated you, even without Renkui's essence, you are still capable of this much." The voice said and ended with a cheeky smile, it was calm and sounded like that of a ten year old, the complete opposite of how Zhangshun Shan sounded.

Zhangshun Shan turned and behind him, he saw a figure whom was roughly two inches taller than him, it was like a cross breed of human and monkey, it had fur all over his body and a long tail protruding from his buttocks and wore a red cloth, Zhangshun Shan couldn't fathom what material the cloth was made up of, it was the Monkey King.

Zhangshun Shan put on his most demeaning smile even though he could sense the aura which emanated from him.

"You didn't even bother to pretend, if you had, I might have saved you for the last I would kill, you took everything from me, now tell me why I shouldn't destroy and obliterate you like I did to Renkui," Zhangshun Shan asks.

"Well, I can help you to attain what you so much desire," Sun Wukong began.  "Besides, if I hadn't destroyed the fifth Omniverse, the other gods would have completely wiped it from existence and everyone you loved would be no more, all I did, transferring everyone you cared about to another world and attacking your world before the gods could was all my ploy to benefit you in the end," Sun Wukong ends with hi most haughty grin.  Zhangshun Shan looked around, everyone was frozen in fear, apparently, they didn't understand what was going on.

"Don't bother about the meaningless participants, you are the only significant fellow here, the rest are unwanted maggots," Sun Wukong begins as he walks confidently around Zhangshun Shan.  "I have completely blocked environment and internal perception meaning no one here can perceive what's around or inside them, it's a skill I picked up from Change'e."

"You speak like your power is limited," Zhangshun Shan begins.  "I thought all the gods are omnipotent, shouldn't you be able to do what you want when you want."

"It's not like I can't, in all dimensional planes of existence, I can operate as freely as I want," Sun Wukong began. "But from 1A and above, our Omnipotence becomes limited as Agranshio plane of existence is a realm of Omnipotence and endless power surpassing even comprehension and Omnipotence itself, therefore the gods can't operate as freely as they can in dimensions, though there's an exception."

"Who?"

"Xiwangmu, she's the most powerful of us all, she can operate freely in 1A and 2A planes but I, Sun Wukong," Sun Wukong said motioning to himself.  "Have the ability to replicate and copy any ability or power and if I desire, upgrade it to my liking."

"Doesn't that make you the strongest of the gods even though you are still far too powerless in comparison to me."

"Na, even 2A planes has different tiers, the catch for me being able to replicate and upgrade any ability is that I first have to understand it, but Xiwangmu is of a greater tier of power than I will ever be, even I have difficulty comprehending some of the abilities she pulls."

"What do you want?" Zhangshun Shan asked with his most stern expression.  "I am still aggravated you destroyed my omniverse without my permission, give me one reason why I shouldn't smite you where you stand," Zhangshun Shan said with a low but firm voice as he thought.  "Sun Wukong must have seen the perception of the events that took place from one of the participants who are down there, Bale and d**k must have manipulated their observation in such a way that it seemed like Bale and d**k wasn't the one who made Xiwangmu unconscious and destroyed most of them but instead, they rigged it to make it look like me, hence, that's what there was still fear on their fa es instead of a look of relief.  That's why Sun Wukong is keeping his chills with me even though he can sense my Essence and see it's not much significant from a 3D being's one, he would think I am hiding up some tricks as even he can't defeat Xiwangmu, he would soon ask to make a deal with me in exchange for me explaining the supposed trick that he thinks I have so he can copy them."

"For starters," Sun Wukong began with his most cheeky smile.  "I am sick and tired of this God tier bullshit, I aspire to rule and control all, same as you do," Sun Wukong smiled as he thinks.  "Zhangshun Shan really is a tricky human, based on what I can see, his essence is no different from that of a 3D being but yet the memories I saw from all the participants here can't be false, he singlehandedly made an innumerable number of participants a mere ten thousand, participants which are ranging all the way from 1D to infinite dimensional and from 5D and above, the beings are capable of creating, altering and destroying realities and existences as they so please, neglecting that," Sun Wukong kept thinking as he turns towards Xiwangmu's unconscious body.  "He still managed to knock the strongest of the gods out, he must be using some strange ability to mask his true power, I need to get into his good books, find out the source of that technique, then proceed later on how to eliminate him."

"What gives you the impression I am ambitious?"

"It's obvious, I have seen the memories of Sui Wenyan, Qui Si and Wenren Yu," Sun Wukong began.  "After all, I was the one who personally snuck all of them from the abyss here."

"Meaning you know what's wrong with their memories."

"Exactly," Sun Wukong had an evil smile on.  "It's what I personally did, that's why Xi Hing remembers you and the others don't, I am the mastermind behind it all and I hold their memories, after all, isn't that why you haven't destroyed me seeing as how you bested Xiwangmu so easily."

"What an i***t," Zhangshun Shan thought.  "He thought that I knew he was the one who was responsible for the loss of memories amongst those I truly care about and thinks that the only reason I haven't destroyed him yet was because I want the restoration of those memories, he thinks that's what I perceive as his bargaining chip, I will play this game with him." Zhangshun Shan strolls towards Sun Wukong, his eyes, emotionless and his facial expression, unreadable "You have seen what I can do, what is a mere restoration of a few memories."

"Memories are as a product of environmental protection, Xiwangmu is the patron of every soul that comes into the underworld meaning that in her possession is all the memories of every soul that came, that rule is so absolute that even the Jade Emperor can't go against it but I understood how she does it, so I personally have all the memories of all the fifth Omniversal inhabitants who entered the abyss," Sun Wukong grinned evilly as he opened his palm.  "Their memories are in the palm of my hand and only I control how it will work," Sun Wukong grinned as he looked at Zhangshun Shan.  "You have no choice, you must work with me if you want to restore those memories."

"What about Xi Hing?  I thought you struck a deal with him."

"It's true ooooh," Sun Wukong smiled evilly as he too began to walk towards Zhangshun Shan.  "I even forgot but who I can't be blamed, no one gives a f**k about their encounter with every roach they meet in their residence, Xi Hing was a mere pawn, all I did was manipulate him into stealing the orb, it was no coincidence that you entered the first Omniverse, when two individuals truly loves each other, their souls create a field of attraction that even space and time can't alter, you felt attracted to the first Omniverse because of the majority of people who were there that you truly loved and once loved you, think about it, there were countless worlds but you chose that one, even you had been playing by my every whim, I also staged everything perfectly in the world you entered so that Rui Hongcha was aware of your prescence and timed it so perfectly that Xi Hing would strike then, squeeze the orb and bring you here," Sun Wukong had an evil glint in his eyes.  "I thought I might have I sharpen you a bit more so I brought up one more foe for you but with all I have seen, you are more powerful than me though you are no match for me in a game of wits," Sun Wukong grins as he turns behind Zhangshun Shan.  "And brain shall always overcome brawn no matter what, it isn't the strong who wins, it's those who win that are strong and the one who wins is always the smartest so yeah victory has been in my grasp from the very beginning as I am the smartest of all," Zhangshun Shan couldn't help but but his lower lip.  "Zhangshun Shan!!!" Sun Wukong screamed as he turned at him, "you are not going to kill me, you still need the memories of the people you care about, also once I die, what you did against Renkui shall he revealed to the gods and Jade Emperor meaning that your death is imminent should you try and play against my whim, you are but my mere pawn, I will make the Jade Emperor's power mine and after that, you would have become useless and when do, I won't hesitate to obliterate you."

"Were you saying something," Zhangshun Shan began yawning.  "I lost you at the part when you were at blah blah blah."

Sun Wukong gave a wicked grin as he whispers.  "It would be in your best interest not to let anyone amongst your team dies as resurrection of any form is prohibited here, also once a team member dies, the world they hail from is destroyed and the deceased team member shall continue to suffer an eternal series of death, none of the participants know this, they just think this is an avenue to become as powerful as gods but unknown to them, unknown to the other gods, it's also a place where I am destroying anyone with potential to become a celestial rival and if a world could produce someone who became a celestial rival, then what's stopping the same world from creating another, that's why all shall be destroyed, hahahahahahahahaha," Sun Wukong laughed as he snapped his fingers.

"Sun Wukong is the trickest bastard I have ever faced, he first approached me as of he wanted to make a simple deal but instead turned the tables so much that he practically made me look like pawn, his wisdom and unpredictability is frightening to say the least," Zhangshun Shan thought as he smiled.  "Sun Wukong, the greatest mistake you made in your life was actually having the guts to stand before me and spill that nonsense, I, Zhangshun Shan has always won, is winning and will always win.  You said something that it's those that win that are strong, well if that's true, then it means I am the STRONGEST!!!!."

Sun Wukong laughed as hard as he could as he heard what Zhangshun Shan said, Zhangshun Shan didn't have an iota of fear on his face, instead he looked determined and confident.  "This will truly be exhilarating."

Zhangshun Shan smiled as he went back to where his comrades where, he kept his head up high.  "Sun Wukong is the most powerful Opponent I have ever faced, this will require a lot of caution but I have made it clear to him I am no slave of his, he must think I am so confident because of a power he thinks I have but I have to say, he was the first person I made a wrong prediction about, finally, someone worth battling."

"You weren't surprised when I first came and you knew my name instantly," Sun Wukong thought.  "It means you predicted that the God that  struck a deal with Xi Hing and destroyed the fifth omniverse were one and the same, you expected me to know that so I would think that I'd be on the safe side by making a bargain with you, then you took it further by expecting me to think that I would ask that you would ask me to restore your friends memories in return for you helping me complete my goals," Sun Wukong grinned evilly.  "But I had predicted your prediction that predicted my prediction that predicted your prediction, I knew what how you wanted me to act but no one controls me, instead, I control all, you are formidable as there are a lot of unknowns about you but it's still no matter, I will still win, after all, I am the strongest."

Zhangshun Shan got to Ashley, she like the rest of the participants appeared unconscious, Zhangshun Shan wrapped his arms around her.  "Why did I bring her along? She has no use here, there's no way she can keep up with the rest of the beings here, I made a fatal error..."

"What are you talking about?" Ashley began with a yawn, Zhangshun Shan quickly surveyed his surroundings and sure enough, everyone no longer appeared frozen.

"Sun Wukong must have undone that hax," Zhangshun Shan thought as he held Ashley.  "Do you remember what happened?"

"I can't," Ashley began holding her head, Zhangshun Shan noticed there were no red on her cheeks neither was she tugging her hair, she was now terrified of him but was afraid to show it.

Whatever Bale and d**k made it seem like he did must have been utmost frightening.

"I didn't know you still had that kind of power locked in you," Rui Hongcha began as he strolled towards him with Jumoeng Sheng at his side, Zhangshun Shan released Ashley as he turned to face the duo who was approaching him.

"Rui Hongcha is right, we are most fortunate you came to our aid."

"It's no hassle, I am Zhangshun Shan, the greatest fortune any one can ever have is me being on their side," Zhangshun Shan said with his most haughty grin as he looked around, Ashley was gone, she now stood beside Mui Li.

"Sun Wukong wasn't lying to me but he's lying to the rest of the gods and participants here, none of them those who died are going back to their real worlds, their worlds have been destroyed and they suffer an eternal series of death," Zhangshun Shan thought. "this is truly getting interesting, Sun Wukong told me he set someone against me in order to sharpen me, I have to be wary."
