Slowly awakening, Lachlan let out a deep breath of air. He could not even believe the things they went through that led them to the now. Opening his heavy sleepy eyes, Lachlan looked over to the woman that was lying next to him, silent and asleep, looking content and at peace. It was very clear, very evident after everything that happened, so many had underestimated her, had not realised her strength. Lachlan now knew deeply just how strong she was, admitting that her strength was even greater than his own. With a small sigh, he shifted slightly, before reaching a hand out, brushing some hair away from her perfectly formed face, leaning down and giving her a gentle kiss on the top of her head, knowing now that they will forever be together and nothing can take them away from each other now
