Two weeks after the crowd had swarmed the house, Winter was seriously considering the options of shifting, finding a much more secure location. She was sad, she was lost and she did not even know how to help herself, let alone help other people. She had tried to speak with Tilly, however, the other being was not interested at all. She was very angry, for her lost. She had lost Adam and Jake and almost lost Timbal.
